Agreed. Tom Jones is peeved at being sacked with no consultation.

I won't be watching. I never cared for TJ before but love him since seeing him on The Voice.

Tom was ditched. I saw something on social media, he put out a statement saying he'd expected to be going back, had kept the time free etc but has just been told he is not coming back. His statement was worded in a quite dignified way but he was obviously not happy.

B George does know his music though, I think he will give good critique.
Palona is quite funny tbh.

I love Paloma faith, everything I've seen her on she's come across as lovely. surprised they didn't keep Tom. It gave them a difference with X factor having a legend like that on there.

I was in my late teens in the early 1980s so I suppose I'm of the Boy George era. Never really cared for Culture Club, think he's probably got the wrong attitude for The Voice, and would much prefer TJ. If it's true that he wasn't told, this has been handled appallingly. Going for the shock story, oh yea, sounds like X Factor which I dumped 4 years ago.
Very disappointed by this news and won't be watching.

Blimey that's gone a bit wrong for them. How odd not to mention that Tom was dropped in all the announcements. In May tom is up there advertising the auditions. Pay issue?

The BBC said TJ was never signed up for more than four seasons and he knew that.

But I honestly can't see TJ pretending he didn't know - what would be the point? He seems to have a lot more integrity than that.

I don't like The Voice but I do like Boy George so I may watch just for him. I wish he would go on Celeb Big Brother.
