Kit Harrington is seen in Belfast, still sporting that hair and beard For the read through of the new series. Lots of theories about this in newsfeeds on t'interweb. So what do you think?

Ooh, ooh, just had a thought. Trying not to give away book spoilers, so I hope this makes sense: you know the section in the books when Melisandre makes us think someone has died, but it turns out to be someone else? That storyline hasn't been used in the series, so I wonder if it might go that way with JS?

Probably way off with that theory but thought I'd mention it.

There's too much foreshadowing in the last few episodes about JS's parentage (thinking Littlefinger talking to Sansa in the crypt about Lyanna and Rhaegar) for it to be a straightforward death.

And... SPOILER POTENTIALLY... rumours suggest they've been filming at a location that could well serve as the Tower of Joy, book fans. Flashbacks maybe??

The Tower of Joy scene would be interesting, but there's not really been much allusion in the TV series to the Lyanna-Rhaegar relationship so it may come as a surprise to viewers.

I think the next series might fill that out with flashbacks sansarya, after Littlefinger's big hint. Just a total guess though. We have to get to r+l=j somehow

Jon Snow cannot be dead. I think this is an appropriate moment to raise this

If it's a flashback Craic then it wouldn't be Sean. As good an actor as he is, I'm not sure he can convince as a 20 year old!

Can't wait to see what happens to Sansa and Reek/Theon, especially now they both seem to have grown some spines.

At some point in both the books and the TV series we surely have to meet Howland Reed, father of Jojen and Meera, who is the only person left alive who went to the Tower of Joy with Ned to rescue Lyanna. He must have a pretty good idea who Jon's father is.

Oh god he's my favourite character, even if just for the perv factor I do so hope he comes back!!

I know part of his contract with GoT was to keep his hair like that but why, just why, would he ever change it anyway? It's so utterly lovely like that....

Is Stannis definitely dead?

In GoT I reckon they're only definitely dead if you see them die.

Stannis? No idea. Think it's one of the many characters that we can't be sure about. What about The Hound? We didn't see him die either.

I agree that if you don't see them die you can't be sure they're dead. I think this applies to Jon, Stannis and the Hound.

I think they confirmed that Stannis is dead. But I wouldnot believe a word you say.

I wonder who will be Rhaegar and Arthur Dayne? Max von Sydow will be an amazing 3-eyed raven.
