Kit Harrington is seen in Belfast, still sporting that hair and beard For the read through of the new series. Lots of theories about this in newsfeeds on t'interweb. So what do you think?

Exactly! My DH has never seen GoT, or read any of the books. But he knows about Jon Snow.

You could argue that this isn't a spoiler because,
A. It asks a question, it doesn't make a statement and
B. Anyone with any GoT knowledge who has watched the last five seasons would haven inkling that this was the case anyway.

Anyway... I don't think Snow is dead. He can't be yet because we're missing a key part of the story line, which is that he's apparently a Targaerian.

Should have known really when Sam and Gilly went. Also another think that annoys me is I don't think Ghost would have left him completely alone with no allies at all. Where was he?

Some are speculating that he warged into Ghost before dying. It would be very weird if true.

I'd be worried about him being resurrected.
It didn't work out too well for Lady Stoneheart in the books

My money's on Melisandre, she arrived conveniently coincidentally at Castle Black just before the denouement of JS. However, it would be the only useful thing she will have done, she's been spectacularly disasterous in the past.

I've not seen s5 yet, but as I'm an impatient sod I have read all the spoilers.

Does anything happen between Jon and Mel during S5? During the last episode of S4, just after Stannis & co arrive at the wall, a 'significant' look is shared between them. I wondered if this is foretelling Jon's resurrection (hopeful).
