Oh my lovely, I think you need to take something for that delusion you're suffering from. Muddled indeed ! 
You're forgetting Novak has his own demons to overcome, he's not been playing as well in the past so far this year. There was talk the other day of a thigh injury, (or is he up to his old tricks ?) AND he has never beaten Rafa at RG.
During Rafa's match yesterday they were talking about certain stats, which showed Rafa is playing/hitting the 
as well as last year, if not a bit better. So if he can over come his 'im-not-as-good-as-i-was-itis, I think Rafa will triumph.
I loved also what Rafa said in his press conference after his match yesterday. He was stressing the fact that it will be a special quarter final, but the winner wont be the Champion of RG, they will be a semi-finalist of RG, which makes it different.
Both appear to be playing their chances down. If anything, it should be a good match. Could also be a damp squib too.
I think more people would like to see Rafa get that #10 too, than Novak win this year. He can always try again next year !
