I liked Miranda too.

I can't stand it-not my cup of tea at all. My 93 yr old Mum finds it hilarious -I am guessing the crude stuff goes over her head, she keeps explaining to me that it's a man dressed up ( although I had worked that out in fact Grin)

I love it. it seems to be kbe of those things you love or hate no happy medium

I love when Mrs Brown ad libs and the other cast crack up

Alwaysrushingaround · 31/05/2015 00:48

I love it! The old jokes are the best!
Has cheered me up many a time watching it !

Kurri - I doubt very much the crude stuff goes over her head and that's more than likely why she enjoys itWink

You may well be right DameD Grin

I've only ever seen it twice, when i couldn't be arsed to find the remote. Weirdly, it was the same episode both times.

My 65 year old mother loves it- but I think Mrs Brown reminds her of mother, a proper Irish mammy, but minus the swearing.

MrsPeterQuill · 31/05/2015 21:41

I loathe it btw

hackmum · 01/06/2015 09:26

I've only seen it once. I didn't find it funny. All the jokes were incredibly obvious and signalled well in advance - I did wonder if that was perhaps the point, i.e. "We know this joke is really obvious and we know that you know it's coming but we're going to do it anyway." 'Allo 'Allo was a bit like that - pantomimic, as someone said. Regardless, I still didn't find it funny.

LineRunner · 01/06/2015 09:30

I detest it. And I've never watched it. So I don't really know how I detest it with all my being. It could be on the basis of one trailer - that's how bad it is.

Its quite a marmite programme, DW hates it, it might get the odd laugh for me, but as someone said upthread is when things go wrong.
