I absolutely loved that show.
I watched the Season 3 finale yesterday, came on the internet to see when Season 4 is out only to find out it's been
CANCELLED! Shock
wtf?

Hopefully some other network will realize it's popularity and make some more episodes.
Sod the so-called ratings.
(I know lots of people that have watched and enjoyed this show).

I didn't think season 3 was that good! It felt all over the place and too many different serial killers all working together! Although I did like how the FBI one was involved and would have liked to know who was in charge

Some shows don't get the same hype, advertising and PR that others do. Then they wonder why the ratings aren't up. That's because not many people know about it.

The chemistry between Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy was brilliant.
Come to think of it, all the serial killers were good in it.

I can see why they cancelled it. It started off really well. It ended up all over the place.

velouria · 24/05/2015 22:28

Bah how come people can watch it on Netflix? I could never find it, won't bother now spose Sad

Bringitbacknow · 24/05/2015 22:33

The last season of The Walking Dead was the equivalent of watching paint dry, but they haven't cancelled that.
(and I say that as an avid TWD fan)

I think they 'big' some shows up more than others and throw more money at them. A lot is to do with merchandise as well.
It's all to do with money.

I have 3 more episodes to go on season 3. Also a massive fan and sorry to see it go.

mumofthemonsters808 · 24/05/2015 22:37

I think it should have ended after season two, season three towards the end was atrocious. It lost all sense of direction and turned into an action film and the many failed attempts to kill Ryan Harding became ridiculous.

Bringitbacknow · 24/05/2015 22:42

Thephoneix, I won't give anything away, seeing as you still have a few episodes to go!

I don't mind spoilers - I look them up online anyway Blush

loveliesbleeding1 · 25/05/2015 15:39

I will really miss this programme,I had no idea it had been cancelled. Sad

Bringitbacknow · 25/05/2015 16:44

People are saying the third season was rubbish.
But, you can't blame the writers for not putting their hearts into the scripts. Would you - if you had been told midway through season 2, ''we are going to drop this show, so lets wrap it up'' Sad

No wonder it lost it's way.

It would be great if another business was brave enough to take it on and gave it the promotion it deserves.

The Following has quite a 'following', even though it's not as obvious as some of the fans of for example TWD.

It was shit, IMO Grin

Bringitbacknow · 25/05/2015 16:50

WhatEVER Grin

There's a LOT of shit on amongst the box sets, this wasn't one of them.

I gave up on it tbh, I loved series 1, didn't mind series 2. I gave up caring in series 3. Which is a shame because I quite fancy Kevin Bacon...and James Purefoy.

NickiFury · 26/05/2015 01:26

Well it was never going to be as good with Joe gone was it?

I liked it but I don't think it's anywhere near as good as TWD or The Sopranos or anything like that. Was a bit of a one trick pony. No decent sub plots imo.

anotherdayanothername1 · 26/05/2015 01:46

Season one was great, season two was ok, three was rubbish. We tried three episodes before giving up. Shame

AwfulBeryl · 26/05/2015 08:50

Oh Joe died ? I didn't think they would go through with it.

It's a shame, some series just seem to fizzle out. I ended up forgetting who was who and what had happened.
It was the same with Prison Break, I loved it at first, then got bored.

brittanyfairies · 26/05/2015 19:26

I've realised that I've got the last three episodes stacked up to watch, I keep starting an episode and then going onto something else. It's kind of lost its way - Ryan is irritating me.

McDreamyMcNastyMcHottie · 30/05/2015 12:07

See season 3 was a bit naff compared to the others but season 4? Now that would be a season I would watch, Ryan Hardy going rogue with only an imaginary Joe Carroll for company? Tv gold!

ThePhoenixRising · 30/05/2015 18:15

Yes Ryan irritated me at the end. Have caught up and watched them all now. Sad it has ended but I'm sure I'll forget about it fairly quickly unlike other series. (Sopranos, Desperate Housewives...)

Lightas · 30/05/2015 19:30

I'm sad there is no season 4 as I enjoyed the last season. I suppose we're lucky we got season 3 shown here though, unlike The Americans which I am still annoyed about.

pieceofpurplesky · 30/05/2015 19:39

Spoiler

Do you think Joe was the unnamed boss? I did, hence wanting him alive ...
Thought it was fab - more about Ryan's descent in to madness than anything else ...
