Still catching up after my holiday, only a couple of episodes behind now.

At least this answers the question of what they were going to do about Amber's baby...

I hope no-one dies, I actually quite like these ones (apart from Therase but if she does we'll never hear the end of it)

Worse firemen EVER! Did they get ANYONE out?? Brad was running in and out but I didn't see anyone get rescued by any firemen...

could that have had anymore cliches in it.

I love how they tried to make it seem like the lift had always been there by getting Toadie to talk about it being out of bounds when he was there.

Yeah where even were the fire crew?! Just standing around having a cuppa whilst Brad made his 'ex wife or new lover rescue' decision and ran back and forth willy nilly into a burning building? Also of course Amber happened to go into labour (prematurely) whilst stuck in a building that is on fire.

Loving the inferno so far, even with all the cliches and non-existent firemen! Why did Sheila just leave Toadie though? Bit weird.
He better not be a goner. Normally I don't like Paige but I actually thought the scene between her & Tyler was pretty well acted.

I think Ben was still around when Piper arrived, he helped her set up that fake car accident?

I actually started to think they were going to kill Toadie off. I'm not sure I could've handled it!
Are they really going to do the whole thinking Steph did something then it turns out she didn't thing again? I reckon her curly haired friend was the fire starter.

Surely Paul Robinson is respsonsible for the fire or that councillor woman who have done some deal to close Erinsborough High

But how come with the fire ablaze and lots of injured people, the ONLY Doctor on the scene treating everyone with a couple of "ambos" is Dr Karl....

Also, why was Mark Brennan running into the fire without breathing apparatus when he is NOT a fireman but a policeman!

I'm just disappointed impressed Mark Brennan had a shirt on!

Dr Karl is the only doctor in Erinsborough, he covers every speciality! Apart from that one doctor that shows up occasionally, I think Dr Karl had a date with her once.

Amber's been left in labour with a 'specialist' while Dr K sees to everyone else, but I expect he'll step in when the specialist goes off for a cuppa this arvo.

Yay a Neighbours thread, thought i was the only one! I couldn't believe that Lauren took so long yesterday to be bothered about the fact that her teenage daughter had gone into early labour - while in a burning building! She was hovering around Brad and Therese whilst Amber was elsewhere screaming at Josh that she was going to die! Don't know why but I really can't stand Lauren and think her and Brad's behaviour has been appalling! Don't much like Therese either but I am definitely on her team!

I agree. Lauren & Brad are utterly selfish.

I couldn't understand why Amber had to be alone in labour - even in a difficult one the only reason someone would be booted out is if a crash csection was needed. Why was she labouring alone?

I really liked how the writers are finally siding with Terese, whilst we know Brad was coming back for her and he just couldn't move the locker, it at least means she's no longer the bad guy. I also can't believe he went looking for them rather than Susan and Amber especially as he'd have know Amber was in labour with his grandchild!

I was wondering the same Katz I can't think why she couldn't have a birthing partner. I was also impressed how quickly she was able to stand up after having a c- section!

Even before the c section she seemed to be alone as Dr Karl - is he chief obstetrician now? - came out to talk to the family including Josh! Very strange birth!

My theory is that she had a secret surrogate in order to preserve her figure...

What was Lauren ' she called who was sent away because he went off the rails and started drinking after his dad died? Lauren never mentions him anymore. I'm sure she's not considered that her new relationship with brad isn't going to go down well, and even if amber is cool with him moving in and it being official when the son gets back then how will all that be explained. Especially considering the piper story and she is struggling to fit back into family life when her family has fallen apart.

Do you mean Bailey Autumn? Surely Mason (who never made it back for Mat's funeral) won't be very happy about it either.
Looks as though Amber and josh are getting back together, I quite enjoyed the fire. Was nice to see Karl and Susan together, had a wee tear in my eye when she was sending the text message

Didn't Lauren go visit Bailey and tell him about the Brad thing. She was talking about how tall and handsome Bailey was now and how well he took it.

I'm so annoyed, I just found out on instagram who started the fire . It's my own fault for following neighbours on there as they're posting at aussie pace so I often see spoilers but for some reason I didn't want to know this one!

I agree about Brad and Lauren. Brad is such a dick. I'm glad amber and josh might be getting back together. I wonder how they'll write her out of it now. I did think maybe she was going to die during labour and I agree that it was a very weird birth. And yes I have had c sections and can't believe how easily she got out of that chair! !

I remember piper and ben meeting when she did that prank for her blog when she pretended to pass out and ben and tyler found her. It was a bit weird how friendly they were to one another though, they'd only known one another 5 mins.

Timon would it help if I said I wasn't convinced by the supposed arsonist? I've yet to see their explanation, just an "I did it" confession but I'm not sure what to believe. I've got a horrible feeling it's going to be one of those storylines that rattles on for ages with several people being blamed before the truth finally comes out.

Wasn't someone supposed to actually die in the fire?
