Old thread here. This is copied and pasted from there.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT***

Next episode is Easter Monday at 8.30pm (for an hour). This is the start of knockout week.

Then:
Wednesday 8pm-9pm
Thursday 8pm-9pm
Friday 8.30pm-9pm

They start the week with 12, lose one a night and at the end of Friday they're down to 8.

Then just to confuse us even more they put an episode on a Sunday (12th April) 7.30-8pm.
Monday 13th 8pm-9pm.

That's as far as the BBC website shows at the moment. That's semi-final week so presumably the finals are the following week.

OP posts:

Yep! Robert. He disagreed with them, that won't have helped!

ilovesooty · 13/04/2015 21:58

Yes. Right decision but I must admit at the beginning I thought he'd make the final.

TrulyTurtles · 13/04/2015 21:59

Oh is it the bucket of scraps round?

fourquenelles · 13/04/2015 22:00

I think Robert thought he was the finished article and had little to learn. I amy be wrong but that's how he came across to me.

fourquenelles · 13/04/2015 22:00

Love the scraps round. It's like a tour through my fridge.

LaVolcan · 13/04/2015 22:19

I like the bucket of scraps round too. Anyone should be able to can cook with top quality ingredients, but it takes skill to make something Masterchefy out of scraps.

GrouchyKiwi · 14/04/2015 10:31

Was that the best mass catering round they've ever had? The pasta dish looked delicious.

So glad Robert is gone. Very annoying. And I too love the "scraps" round.

squoosh · 14/04/2015 11:31

Huzzah to Robert getting the shove!

squoosh · 14/04/2015 11:32

What's the betting they all do cod cheek raviolo for the scraps round.

squoosh · 14/04/2015 11:33

Last night's pasta dishes did indeed look pretty impressive.

Givenotake · 14/04/2015 20:09

Just caught up. What is with the incessant slow motion walking! Is it tongue in cheek?

Also never understood what you were all talking about re Robert. Now I get it. I hate him. Good riddance.

Simon for the win! Or Emma, or Pete actually. Not blusher girl or the other young one.

WalkingThePlank · 15/04/2015 14:42

So glad Robert went. It was his fault they dropped the food en-route to the hangar and he was arrogant enough to tell John Torode that he could do the quail dish better. He probably wasn't a worse cook than Beth (if you rolled up meat) but I think he rubbed too many people up the wrong way.

squoosh · 15/04/2015 14:49

The slow motion walking reminds of that action film cliché where the hero walks away from an explosion without so much as a backwards glance and a 'bloody hell, something just blew up'.

Seriously though, what a bell end, and also possible axe murderer.

TrulyTurtles · 15/04/2015 20:02

Down to seven. Who's for the chop?

Floopledoop · 15/04/2015 20:03

I love this round! The baby is asleep so I can concentrate fully on masterchef-yay!

Floopledoop · 15/04/2015 20:03

My dog would love the pigs ear

fourquenelles · 15/04/2015 20:04

fourquenelles · 15/04/2015 20:05

Floople My galgos would eat the lot - veggie trimmings and all!

squoosh · 15/04/2015 20:05

That's not terror Gregg, that's her blusher.

squoosh · 15/04/2015 20:05

I don't usually drink mid week but I've popped open some sauv blanc to cheer Robert's leaving.

TSSDNCOP · 15/04/2015 20:05

Love this round.

fourquenelles · 15/04/2015 20:07
