Old thread here. This is copied and pasted from there.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT***

Next episode is Easter Monday at 8.30pm (for an hour). This is the start of knockout week.

Then:
Wednesday 8pm-9pm
Thursday 8pm-9pm
Friday 8.30pm-9pm

They start the week with 12, lose one a night and at the end of Friday they're down to 8.

Then just to confuse us even more they put an episode on a Sunday (12th April) 7.30-8pm.
Monday 13th 8pm-9pm.

That's as far as the BBC website shows at the moment. That's semi-final week so presumably the finals are the following week.

I am late to the party as thought it as on at 8:30!

Floopledoop · 12/04/2015 19:52

Are caramelised vegetables just roast veg?

Halsall · 12/04/2015 19:52

Welcome quenelles. They've really got their knickers in a twist thus far Grin

fourquenelles · 12/04/2015 19:53

It's the tag team round? Great fun.

fourquenelles · 12/04/2015 19:55

Bleurgh gritty food. Sloppy.

Halsall · 12/04/2015 19:56

Oh ffs, almost everyone keeps calling it a 'ballontine', incl JT. It's ballotine - the twunts!

Is that it then? Me thinks they (BBC) are spreading this out a bit thin.

Halsall · 12/04/2015 19:59

Oh. It's over, you're right, quenelles.

What is point?

Floopledoop · 12/04/2015 19:59

See you all tomorrow at 9 then

fourquenelles · 12/04/2015 19:59

9 9 9 9 9 9 9 9 9 tomorrow - so I don't forget again.

TheSilveryPussycat · 12/04/2015 22:50

What a stupid test imo. How was that about team-work? They had no opportunity to work as a team...

Roussette · 13/04/2015 07:53

Just caught up on it as was out last night, I agree what a stupid test! What does it show?

All it shows is - it pays to keep the kitchen tidy after your 20 minutes and to place things strategically so the next person can see it all, and rush rush rush!

Trills · 13/04/2015 07:59

I felt sorry for whatshername who roasted the chicken and DID put things out neatly to say "make sauce here" and "this is the chicken timer".

Cecyhall · 13/04/2015 09:18

I'm surprised that 3 out of the 4 didn't know how to cook polenta at that stage of the competition.

Davros · 13/04/2015 09:22

They've done this relay thing on MC Australia. Not a big fan of it. I also don't much like the restaurant kitchen and mass catering rounds so this is not my favourite phase. The best thing is when they cook something themselves, preferably not pre-planned

WalkingThePlank · 13/04/2015 12:13

Ooh, I didn't know it was on last night. Thanks for the heads up. Will watch as I have lunch.

They did a relay type thing in one of the versions, perhaps the celebrity version. Some were better than others at signposting what the heck was going on to the next person.

squoosh · 13/04/2015 12:19

And to think, not one of them did a fancy crispy chicken skin thingy-bob sticking out of the dinner like a little flag. I thought a bit of crispy chicken skin was mandatory these days.

eddiemairswife · 13/04/2015 12:22

I find it extremely irritating that they are putting programmes on at any old time, and on days that they are not usually shown.

squoosh · 13/04/2015 12:26

Yes, they're making us spend time and energy actually seeking Gregg Wallace out. It feels wrong.

Roussette · 13/04/2015 15:58

so so wrong squoosh. Also I work odd hours and sometimes I'm not around evenings and I can't plan. The programme schedulers are extremely inconsiderate. Grin

I think I'm going to be missing most of the next week but I've already lost the plot. Last night there were 8 or whatever and I thought 'OK, I suppose the other 8 are on tomorrow night' but have just realised there are only 8 left (I think). They don't make it easy for us!

Ellenora5 · 13/04/2015 20:11

I've missed a good few because I am sick, been in bed for days :( I thought I had it on series link but then I remembered I was getting bored with it and took it off series link, so don't know what is happening, I'll try watch tonight and catch up.
