Evening. So am back from WRI Quiz night (yes, I know, and they served tea and biscuits after and we were one of only 2 tables who took alcohol..but it was a back scratching thing. And we came 3rd Grin)

Bit lot tipsy but have thoroughly enjoyed reading through the live wenchwatch. So pleased you've all seen it now and we can talk waffle about it. Sooooo good. Cpt Athos!

MadamedeChevreuse · 27/03/2015 23:02

smutko happy birthday!

Well done mrsb. Mmmm, tea and biscuits...

Night wenches.

Enormouse · 27/03/2015 23:03

I'm off too. Night wenches.

ChaiseLounger · 27/03/2015 23:08

I feel all happy. But all sad.
Wasn't it great? Isn't it sad that this is the end?

LaComtess · 27/03/2015 23:20

Night wenches.

I'm the same Chaise. All happy but also all sad. And if they start filming on the 27th April they'd better hurry the fuck up so we don't have to wait long.

All happy with gallopy fallopy and Captain Athos. All distraught with him clutching the dropped glove.

Oh and yes Issy, agreed a v uncrossroady crossroads. I thought that too.

And phwaaor to them all having the blue sash of sex. Nice.

Night wenches. All for one.

COME BACK the lot of yers! What are we going to do with no Muskies for months? Lots of Poldark AT oh yesss

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 27/03/2015 23:50

Frigging Poldark is NOT the same. Firstly, cos AT isn't a patch. Secondly, cos no matter which Team you're on, there's always some pretty whichever way you look on TM. Not so in Cornwall.

LetUsPrey · 27/03/2015 23:52

Tumblr!!

Madame I'm here! Just a little late to the party! I had a stubborn toddler who would just not go to sleep & I didn't want to start watching it until I could give it my full attention.

I was proper shouting at the Milady waiting at the "crossroads" scenes. It wasn't a crossroads. She'd just pulled over at the side of the road - no wonder he wasn't there, she wasn't where she said she'd be! Why were there so many people walking on that road - surely there can't have been that many people who just went wandering around rural France? And why, why, WHY did he not just go after her?! She can't have had more than an hour's head start. By the time she got to the port, got on a boat & waited to set sail he could've caught up with her! Then we'd be rid of him & his grumpiness. Why was she so desperate to go to England in the first place?

Marg was a coward. If she was going to top herself she could've at least burst into the king's room & bellowed that R made her lie about everything & insist that he'd poisoned her. Would've been good if his downfall was a set up! Then the Musketeers could've burst in, had the Spanish bloke confirm everything while R looked shifty & tried to run, only to bump into Queenie, try to take her hostage & then Dog could've killed him.

For just a moment I thought they might actually get rid of one of the Musketeers... & hoped that Poldark would replace them. If any of the actors do decide to leave at some point they should definitely draft in AT. I'm sure he can do both programmes... He's dedicated like that. Grin

MavisGrind · 28/03/2015 08:53

Morning all.

Those gifs are magnificent Sparks.

Agreed that Poldark just isn't the same. Oh well. DVDs and Tumblr to sustain us for another year. It's been done before, we can do it again.

BloodyElkFire · 28/03/2015 08:57

Just how bloody brilliant was that??. I've not had a chance to watch it a second time and can't wai to get back home again (soz ILs) I did rewind the athos bits a few times though predictably. No tears here- I a hard cow Hmm, although my viewing pleasure, and some all of the emotion may have been stymied by babyElk bouncing and squealing on my lap throughout Hmm

Roll on s3....I might have a fighting chance of watching it with you all by then

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 28/03/2015 09:00

Morning Smile Can't wait for my DVD!

Off to Fika. Have a lovely day Smile

Morelikeguidelines · 28/03/2015 09:15

Those are lovely letusprey

They did at least have the decency to make aramis proper sexy throughout. Love the bottom two. Also middle right - lots of shots of aramis' throat in the episode which was great (although I'd like to have seen a bit more of him!)

IssyStark · 28/03/2015 09:22

Morning all! Having a respite sat in the carpark outside swimming waiting with ds2 for ds1 and DrIssy before a full on day of family activities.

Yet to order the dvd but contemplating watching Ripper Street on Amazon Prime (got the free trial at the mo) as not sure when it is going to be on BBC2 and I was vaguely obsessive about the earlier series. That plus Poldark and Banished might suffice but I doubt it. Will probably end up trawling through pages of dross to find
the odd fanfic gem Hmm

We'll just have to support each other through withdrawal Grin

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 28/03/2015 09:32

Have seen Ripper Street. It's fab.

ChaiseLounger · 28/03/2015 09:53

I too liked how grubby and dirty Aramis was when being questioned by Rochefort.
