Evening all hope you had a lovely Easter. Just got in from work now ...spent the latter bit of the long weekend trying to complete something pressing for work so shattered but still due my visit from CJ soon so lots to look forward too skimming back over thread looks like I have missed a bit of scandal too speaking of which.. thanks for comments on five years FF ice too kind

Lola CJ proved his worth when he was with me, not with changing lightbulbs, but with cutting down a branch of my apple tree which I couldn't reach on my own, even with the stepladders. He made me sit on his shoulders instead - think it gave the neighbours a thrill as I was waving a pair of loppers around at the same time to attack the branch. It worked though. He's worth his weight in gold!

Morning. Lovely to wake up to blue skies. Planning a day of housework till it warms up enough to sit in the garden.

ilove think you might have to reissue amended battle plans for the delivery of CJ...there appears to be additional visits or revisits being slotted in ....so pick up from jen when? Onto painted , then what time flight from Manchester?

Need to be sharp for CJ!!

Oh rhubarb that last chapter was so cruel...so near yet so far!!! But at least they are out of wet weather gear now!! Nice touch of elegance CJ in a dj, now that is a lovely thought!!!

I liked the image of CJ in a DJ too. Mmmmm.

Flight is 0905. Painted will be around an hour from the airport. CJ will be useful carrying our suitcases snd if he's in uniform, we're less likely to get pulled aside by Security?

Pick up from Jen on Thursday do you think? He'll be exhausted by then.

Lovely ilove gives me chance to finish this darn report for work and begin the process of primping and preening in preparation for his arrival at painted towers

Very quiet on here this afternoon. Must be the lovely weather (well, for those of you who are fortunate enough not to be at work).

Painted are you going to keep CJ overnight on Tuesday (need to be at the airport for 7 am) or is it better if he comes back to me on Tuesday evening ready for the early start on Wednesday?

Off home now - being outside working in the garden beckons!

I'm rewarding myself with a large glass of wine and a bowl of crisps for all my hard work in the garden today. CJ would be proud, plenty of effort put in, it was just a shame he wasn't with me shirtless digging over my beds!!!!

I've been in garden playing with boys and reading all day. Bliss. Just missed a CJ pouring me cool glasses of prosecco otherwise it was perfect

ice how did you know that's what I've had him doing all afternoon?! Does your bank of monitors include my back garden? If so, you'll be glad I insisted that his waiter role was entirely shirtless. My neighbour didn't look impressed, although I think that was due to his wife attempting to jump the fence and join us.

I may have secreted a spy cam....

Been to London en famille and now feel tired, grubby and in dire need of a large glass of wine. Hmm, a shirtless dp will have to stand in for CJ.

woof where are you? I've been trawling through the Poldark scripts again and noted that ep 712 is a very romantic and interesting one for Darkie. Basically, she falls for a donkey who's been anachronistically plying his trade down on the beach. There are several soft focus scenes of Darkie amorously nibbling his long ears.

Love it! jen, what can I say, beautiful and amazingly written (I sat littlie in front of the TV instead of reading a bedtime story, I was captivated). spo, an update of zombies makes me smile every time, and brightens my day!
