Had a banging headache most of the day. Not migraine status exactly but the kind that leaves you feeling completely drained once it goes. Really feel the need to sleep.... Had to go out for my early birthday afternoon tea with a friend as well but survived ok by popping paracetemol. The tea was ok but not the best I've ever had and the scones were as dry as dog biscuits. Still, it was a nice thought of her to buy it for me.

Loving the idea of the bingo! Going to show myself up here though. You'd think as a long-serving member of this thread, I would know every scene in every episode inside out, but I can't bring the "twirly hand thing" to mind. Who can enlighten me please?

Just been reading about Greenstuff and her troll. I really like her writing - just cannot understand these sick people at all.

It reminded me of a troll we met in Norway a couple of years ago....

ilove hope you are feeling better, headaches are quite debilitating, particularly if you have to carry on with life. When is your birthday? Nice of your friend to take you out, but shame the scones weren't up to our standards , jam, cream and CJ would have undoubtedly made up for any shortcomings in the scone department. Wrt your finger twirling question, I thought it was when they were going into Bashira house, but it seems not! But he does do it when they are finished up, in ep 2 just after Smurf says "my aunt Linda if you must know .... Blah blah ... has a tattoo of a gondola ..."

I much prefer that troll to the one inhabiting ff land .... Greenstuffs comment was spot on ... Hi greenstuff, if you have made it on here yet. It must be quite disheartening (for want of a better word?) for those of you who have had her/him/it leave comments, but please ignore them, and only read all the rest which say how much we all love and appreciate the worlds you take us into.

Just thinking I need to have a proper watch of ep 2 incase there is any more twirly hands.

Am sure that twirly hand is just after my aunt linda etc When kinders gives the all clear but I shall also watch ep 2 just to make sure

Ep 2 for twirly hand, but I'm sure he does it somewhere else too - may need to dig out DVD and find it.

Birthday is 1 April (ok, heard all the jokes....)

Am thinking that I might have CJ all to myself as a birthday treat. Sure none of you would want to deny me such luxury on my birthday. He'll have been in Kent for a few days so I may just whisk him back north as my toyboy. Well, it's one of the perks of being his tour manager and chauffeur. Could even take him into work - that would make them all sit up. Interesting to see how he would get on with my lovely 6'5" colleague. Wonder if there would be any jealousy?

Nickel you're right about headaches. They can be very debilitating. I keep dozing off in the chair so think it's time for a drink and then bed.

Will watch episode 2 tomorrow to witness the hand twirling for myself.

Finally back from the cinema trip and I missed Poldark as I wasn't back in time to see it all. Will be watching on catch up soon.

As for the film, mmh, it was OK. I only had a little snooze once while Richard Gere was doing a lot of talking! I enjoyed the dancing, though. Although there weren't a lot of people in there I think most of them were a bit older than me but I felt perfectly happy to watch it on my own. DD was worried I might be going to see FSOG - shock, horror! She enjoyed Insurgent and said it was actually better than the book which is unusual.

Hi Rhubarb, if you had gone to see FSOG on your own you may have been frisked at the door for cable ties, ropes and floggers but all they would have found would be stag pants, a measuring tape and an inflatable CJ suit!

mummyreeds had they found all that on me, possibly stowed away in a secret zipped up compartment of my 'play pants' they would definitely have marked me down as a seriously dodgy, degenerate basket case of a kind not encountered before and would probably have refused to let me in! In fact, I can see the internal memo circulating around Vue cinemas all over the country warning them to look out for women attempting to enter cinemas with strange devices hidden in their undergarments!

jen just read you latest chapter... Well actually went back and read the whole thing from the start, I am enjoying it so much. That last chapter was perfect, please don't doubt your writing, it's awesome. I hope your winters block shifts soon, but will wait out for as long as it takes, no rush :)

Now then - devices in undergarments does sound very FSOG - although said undergarments would have been stag motifed with bells attached and that's definitely suspect.

Work today. So as hubby out tonight will work on doing the little clip of hand twirling think I've learnt more things I'm the past 5 months about computers than I ever before. At least my cv can be updated with my new skills

Must admit, getting to sleep was a struggle last night with thoughts of AT's hot body....unfortunately that was the one bit of the programme that caught DH's attention from the paper (might have had something to do with me squealing ) and he now understands why I was so anxious to watch
