Here we are again. Grab a Beardy Fucker, pull up a chaise and LetUs (nto) all fall into a drunken stupor.

Start as we mean to go on.

Evening wenches.

(which is an effort after zumba) Bloody wonderful, absolutely bloody wonderful!

And flipping well done to Apricot too!

Can we have Aramis in a monastery for an extremely brief moment, if only for there to be repressed sexual longing that can then no longer be suppressed once he happens upon a temporarily tired (perhaps from zumba?) wench who is in need of a lengthy recovery in various different positions with Aramis in and around a bed? I selflessly volunteer myself for the role.

Carolina2015 · 09/03/2015 21:21

Would love to know how you would be expected to prepare for that role at Musketeer Bootcamp!

Then again...

Grin
Morelikeguidelines · 09/03/2015 21:29

As long as he doesn't have to shave the hair.

And perhaps the wench could be tired from a long day at work with a two and half hour journey at either end following by putting children to bed? Just a suggestion...

IssyStark · 09/03/2015 21:56

Am the only one awake in the house (I know, it's not yet 10pm) and carolina's s3ep7 has yet to be made, what's a girl to do? Hmm

badders ds2. My own little fanboy, aged 3yo, asked for 'light sabre bread', otherwise known as a baguette, at the supermarket on Sunday.

apes good stats keeping Smile

MadamedeChevreuse · 09/03/2015 22:22

Awwwww light sabre bread and Thank Thor!

My ds calls the musketeers swords "dingy light sabres". As in light sabres that go "ding" cos theyre made of metal. And keeps asking me for hiccups phone no so he can come round to play.

AnneOfAramis · 09/03/2015 22:50

Koo eeee I think this is what Sparks was after.

I knew you'd come good.

No, NLT.

Well, actually, YLT probably.

Night x

FancyFancy · 09/03/2015 23:11

It's amazing how different he can look, and although that's not my favourite look of his, I'd have fun messing his hair up Grin

LaComtess · 09/03/2015 23:12

Evening wenchi

Thank heavens for Mavis decorating the balance tonightGrin.

Blimey you lot have blathered on tonight, 7 pages of new thread!!
Carolina absolutely hilare thank you. Lots of naked Athos totally essential to s3.

And yes Badders he must get a finale shag.

(Fab news bil wise btw, jacket potato sounds v good sign).

Weevils talk has both intrigued and disgusted me. Ditto dub con. Never knew what that meant and wonder why anyone finds that arousing. Hmmmm.

Only just back from work and being chivvied by Dh so night and carry on wenching all

Oh and Apricot thank you so much for the screen shots which I will peruse at leisure tomorrow eve and for the stats. And Wicked I think we need specifics on what they've cut out in SE version. Just for clarity. ?onder who edited it??

MadamedeChevreuse · 10/03/2015 07:25

He's more goodfellas brooding and bad than shaggable there imo. Not that I wouldn't, but, yknow.

Do you prefer hairy caveman santi then fancy?

Up earlier than usual cos ds got into our bed this morning and promptly peed himself.

He is 5 and still every night in pull up pants. Shock He was out of nappies at 2.5 and absolutely fine there. I tried about a year later to get him trained at night, lifting etc. for a week before giving up cos no joy whatsoever. Since then, no sign of this mythical "getting dry on his own" that Ive heard so much about.

Any tips / advice? Id go on proper mumsnet, but, you know...

Baddz · 10/03/2015 07:38

Ds1 came into my bed last night....nightmare.
Ffs.
I am knackered.
Dh away tonight...didn't tell me til yesterday.
So that was nice.

LetUsPrey · 10/03/2015 07:39

Morning wenches.

Madame - my advice would be not to worry about it. DS1 was similar, just wasn't ready. We did end up with a bed alarm and melting tablets for him but he got there. I don't thing GP will intervene until about age 7, although this may have changed.

Baddz · 10/03/2015 07:47

I agree with letus.
Boys do seem to be later to be dry at night...something to do with a smaller bladder?

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 10/03/2015 08:00

Morning.

OK, so Jess P has answered some questions on Twitter.

  1. Baby Dolphin is three different babies, not even twins/triplets!
  2. Re heartbreak for Annamis in last 2 eps - "depends what you mean by heartbreak." Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  3. Something else about camera angles that we don't much need to discuss.

I'm off to think about what I mean by heartbreak Hmm Sad

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 10/03/2015 08:02

Sorry Madame, no useful advice to give there I'm afraid cos it sounds like you've tried the obvious. Presume no drinks after teatime etc?

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 10/03/2015 08:07

Morning Smile

Think I will tweet JP and ask if there will be more romance in S3!

Comtess They haven't cut out anything important so far cause there's not that much good they can cut out anyway They left in Lucy's naked arse, I guess that was important for the plot Hmm Don't know if they do it here or if BBC sells a shorter version?

In season 1 they cut out lots of good stuff, "duty and pleasure", "we've learnt this from experience" and other stuff I can't remember. Thank God I have the DVD!

Well, I'm off to work. Have a lovely day wenches Smile

Morelikeguidelines · 10/03/2015 08:13

Hairy caveman aramis is better.

Alibabsandthe40Musketeers · 10/03/2015 08:13

Morning Wenches :)

Madame don't worry about it, DS1 is still in pull ups at night at 6 and a half. Persevere with the lifting, it does slowly seem to be giving DS1's brain the idea that he needs to wake up to pee. Agree with LetUs that the GP won't intervene until they are at least 7 as anything before that is very much within the parameters of normal.

Day at home with DS2 today, we need to do invitations for his party at the end of the month. I hate throwing parties for my DC, does that make me a terrible mother? :(

LetUsPrey · 10/03/2015 08:18

I loathe doing the DC's parties. I'm so glad DS1 is now at the age where he just goes off to the cinema with his friends for his birthday and I sneak in to watch the film too as it's usually a Marvel type one

Wouldn't this just make everything better?

MadamedeChevreuse · 10/03/2015 08:37

Awww thanks for the reassurance wenches. We'll start with the lifting before we go to bed and see how it goes.

In terms of santi, how hairy do you go morelike?

FancyFancy · 10/03/2015 08:50

Morning everyone.

Bastard boiler turned itself off last night so it was a chilly morning here with no hot water. Am just waiting for it to heat up enough for a shower before I head off to the docs for my middle-aged person's health check Hmm Yes letus, that does make everything better Grin

Yes I do prefer hairy Santi madame- whether it's a beard or stubble, but I do prefer the longer hair. Aramis Santi is probably my favourite. I don't mind a bit of serious-faced brooding either (not too much, I'm not Team Athos) , but flirty, charming & hairy Santi is the best ever.

DS wasn't dry at night until he was 6.5. Soaked his pull-ups every single night. When he did get dry, it happened very quickly & with very little input needed from me Grin. Lifting was pointless with him, he slept very heavily & once the novelty of being lifted wore off I couldn't actually wake him enough for him to pee. Well, maybe if I'd disturbed the whole house & woken DD too Grin. Don't think it's actually advised as a strategy by ERIC etc. but different things work for different people. Advice they do give is to try to increase bladder capaciy by making sure the child drinks plenty during the day time.

Ok shower time, see you later

Morelikeguidelines · 10/03/2015 09:03

I do like quite hairy men it is true? I haven't see santi much more hairy than in the musketeers though - where should I be looking?

Has anyone mentioned milady's disparaging line re aramis yet? "women do seem to like him for some reason"

Cheeky mare!

Lyndie · 10/03/2015 09:11

Morning all. Early start here too as DH decided to phone me at 5.10amAngryAngry even on the other side of the world he disturbs my sleep!!!

Storyline wouldn't really work as there is an S3 but can Aramis run off to a convent and be protected indefinitely? Like until Rochefort is dealt with?

Hope everyone has a good day.

Alibabsandthe40Musketeers · 10/03/2015 09:13

LetUs do you reckon I could book them as the entertainment? A lesson in sword fighting rather than pass the parcel? Grin

Hairy Santi much better than slick Santi. He is good as Lancelot, just enough beard - and obviously the chainmail/sword/arrogant thing helps.
