I can't find anything useful on the internet madame that doesn't involve dismantling pipes, so I think I'll leave it to the professionals. Hopefully I can get someone round soon, I've left a message for my usual plumber to call tomorrow. It's chilly here, but not freezing & there should be enough hot water for showers tonight if we're quick! DD has gone swimming & has been given instructions to shower & wash hair thoroughly at the pool. Luckily I washed all school uniform yesterday, as nothing will dry today inside or out.

Dear God, I'd be freezing. I'm already freezing from sitting round in my running kit all day doing nothing. Hope you get it sorted tomorrow. Get your duvets downstairs!

I'm not too cold, except for my hands, thanks. I'm warming them up on ScaredyCat at the moment. I shall spend the evening under a fleecy blanket. It's covered in cat hair, but that will just add to the insulation .

Fuck it, i forgot about Poldark. I may be doing a rewatch of 7 or 8 as Dh hasn't seen them. Will have to line up the FAF.

Afternoon wenches. Is it too soon for ?? Was having a reasonably nice day (mainly due to not having to cook huge meal for inlaws being here) until DS had a 50 minute long tantrum / meltdown. Over me insisting he had to finish his banana before he got desert. Apparently he hopes I have a horrible Mothers Day. Little thug .

Hope your birthday afternoon is going well Mouse. Titparps and squidges to all wenches regardless of your motherhood status.

I'll be watching Poldark. But not perving as an watching it with MIL. She is def not a wench.

Birthday afternoon was lovely thank you . It was a bit tough as I don't talk to my family so always find these sort of occasions hard but PILs, Mr Mouse and the DSes were wonderful. Bonkers SIL was there and she chose to ignore me completely (fine by me) and the meal was a slightly undercooked vegan fest laced with nuts. Mr Mouse excelled himself in tact and foresight and made a few pizzas to contribute. He's been great generally and has more than made up for yesterday's fuckwitttery.

Yaaay for poldark tonight.

Just catching up, I've had a lovely surprising weekend as I was whisked away to mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi, to sing Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi, with rather a lot of other people, then dinner, and a fantastic time with all my boys. So rare all 6 of us are together all weekend and it was really precious.

Off to catch up. I'm most def in for Poldark.

MrsB - had a similar thing from DS2 this afternoon when I asked him to sit at the table for his dinner. Apparently I'm evil and he hates me. Good-o.

I've done two loads of washing, ironed for over two hours, made dinner and have very determinedly not got drawn into homework wars with DS2. I am focussing on Poldark tonight and then Muskteers on Friday to keep me sane(ish).
