SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/03/2015 17:31

Staggers Inn.... Well, back from holiday/work trip epic.

Massive thanks to Drink and Madame for doing the chauffeur thing on Sunday/Monday, and Madame*, the soup was fabulous - even if I didn't get any nice Musketeer related visions from it Grin

So now I'm back at home and, guess what, I have a cold - oh hurrah, oh joy Angry

Morelikeguidelines · 03/03/2015 17:33

typical sex discrimination against wenches imo f ing about with our musketeers schedule...

FancyFancy · 03/03/2015 17:48

Angry Angry Angry

fucking woeful promotion
shitty timeslot

And why the fucking fuck couldn't the sport have been shown on BBC2? I'm sure there's some crappy reason like wanting the higher rating show (ie the sport) to be on BBC1 rather than BBC2 for pride's sake, but that's at the expense of TM fans. The sport fans will watch whether it's on BBC1 or 2 surely?

Twatbadgers & fucktrumpets the lot of them. BBC schedulers that is. And spoilerers. It is a word, don't argue with me

FancyFancy · 03/03/2015 17:53

And I can't even go trawling the internet for soothing pics of beardy, leather-clad loveliness to calm me down. Ok, well maybe not calm me down exactly, um, cheer me up?

D'you know what'd really make me smile Trev? Stick a BBC scheduler on the end of your sword & roast away. Angry

Carolina2015 · 03/03/2015 17:58

Seriously?! BBC America is showing Ep 09 & Ep 10 before BBC UK?! WTAF!!!

I've had this BBC crap up to here

Off to cancel my pre-order for S2 as well Baddz

Baddz · 03/03/2015 17:58

I wonder what jess pope and the cast think about it all?

FancyFancy · 03/03/2015 18:10

Right, off to cook dinner, and hopefully return a bit less sweary afterwards Blush

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 03/03/2015 18:10

You do realise if the ratings carry on poorly & the DVD doesn't sell well if everyone cancels their preorders - then we may not get S3 at all in the UK? they may just ship it straight overseas...

Just sayin'

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 03/03/2015 18:11

I'd imagine the cast & crew are Sad & Angry. I really feel for them. The actors may well be wishing they'd only signed for 2 Shock

Baddz · 03/03/2015 18:15

It's just so.....odd.
Why spend so much ££ and then not promote?
At this rate series 3 will be shown at 3pm on a Wednesday after escape to the country!
Sunday was a much better slot.
And I don't really think we have seen much to make it's post watershed slot necessary tbh...

FolknNorah · 03/03/2015 18:29

We just (have to) pay our tv license and they can use it for whatever the fuck they want. They don't need us, (despite the fact that if people like us hadn't made such a fuss and loved it so much, there would have been no series 2 or 3 (that we know of) ) so they didn't bother with us.
They might as well put it on bbc2 in the usual timeslot on Red Nose Day. They don't need our viewing figures after all and they seem determined to drive the viewing figures down don't they?
Mark my words wenches; this does not bode well wrt series 3 for us. Probably be download only.
I doubt the actors and that care tbh, as long as they get paid.

WELL FUCK YOU. FUCK YOU VERY MUCH

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 03/03/2015 18:51

I reckon the actors will care. They won't want an unsuccessful TV series on their CV or one that does go straight to download. They all come across as being quite proud of it. Unless they're all very good actors.

Oh. Blush

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 03/03/2015 18:53

And I think the pre/post watershed thing has STILL not been solved with S2. I think it's still sitting somewhere between the two so doesn't really fulfil the brief on either.

LetUsPrey · 03/03/2015 19:00

Evening wenches.

Car going in tomorrow for investigations DH phoned up for me I am such a wuss.

And what the actual fuck is this about the US getting the last two episodes before us? Seriously?

Poorly Team Athos wenches, Doctor Athos will be along shortly.

Carolina2015 · 03/03/2015 19:01

In my anger after settling down with my after work cuppa to peruse the internet I forgot to send hugs to ill wenches so I will now slap my own wrist and not allow Athos to shag me senseless tonight. Then again...

Carolina2015 · 03/03/2015 19:05

I have also tweeted JessP. Wonder if she will give a shit!

Lyndie · 03/03/2015 19:07

There is a US TM Twitter account that tweets during each episode A LOT. Which I'll now need to find and unfollow and there's zero chance of avoiding!

I'm not so much in a rage at the U.S. getting it first but the delays, scheduling and lack of promotion does make me cross.

Thing is A Casual Vacancy and now Poldark have been their big things this season so they probably wanted the prime spot for them.

Carolina2015 · 03/03/2015 19:09

I have a feeling that with Harvey Weinstein involved in S3 the US will get it first next season anyway.

Carolina2015 · 03/03/2015 19:12

Sparks - I will no doubt re-order nearer the time or after the release date so they will get my money anyway. As for the ratings, that is mostly down to their own action with the scheduling. It is they, the BBC, who have most affected the ratings.

Baddz · 03/03/2015 19:12

Tbh the actors are in a successful show and getting paid
I don't think they care that much - but I would love to be wrong on that.
The download only aspect hadn't occurred to me....wouldn't surprise me.

LaComtess · 03/03/2015 19:29

Evening wenchery

Well, people appear to be fucking with us. It's totally wrong for the US dates not to be changed. Just wrong. SURELY theyll change them??

A week is a very long time on Twitter. It'll be everywhere. Grrrr. And even if you unfollow you just need a rogue retweet and it's all to fuck.

I'm off to the hard spin class so if I never appear again you'll know I died a very painful death.

Laters!

Fancy finally got an answer from Spouse, who after much prevaricating and declaring he prefered the animated Dogtatian and then saying that Dog was boring (sorry!) finally came down on liking the Muskies ensemble best (cop out, I know). On the other hand when I asked him about his favourite female character, quick as a flash he said "Milady de Winter obv."
