Ooh, look, it's nearly time for a new thread and I'm the only one still here slumped across the bar. I think this place needs decorating ...

I feel rough as and the house is a tip. Mil is on a healthy eating kick thanks to deliciously fucking Ella and my SIL so instead of her usual delicious roasts I've been treated to a range of gluten free, dairy free, meat free options. As I'm already egg and nut free due to allergy this does not leave much.

Last night it was pizza with a cauliflower and rye base and dairy free soy cheese.(yes, it was as awful as it sounds). Unfortunately, to make it taste of something MIL spread it with pesto and forgot that she had.

Now I'm feeling pretty ill and the micelets are being pains in the arse and I haven't been able to keep on top of the house mess. Baby mouse screams when I leave the room and toddler keeps making a mess as I tidy. It's like fucking groundhog day here

AnneOfAramis · 02/03/2015 10:31

Well that's work scuppered for the rest of the day after those photos you posted Sparks I think that picture with the 'I will now do very very naughty things to you stare is one of my all time Aramis favourites. It's like if we could see the whole thing I didnt click because I already couldnt breathe that he is walkign towards me and unbuckling his belt and dropping weapons.

AnneOfAramis · 02/03/2015 10:33

I envisage the wench commune as more like Milady taking off her clothes walking through the garrison snatching chicken legs from bemused serving boys.

Forgot to say really well done on the not smoking madame. I was an occasional smoker long ago. Keep going, you can do it!

MavisGrind · 02/03/2015 10:47

Nice work LetUs subconscious.....well done for the sheer volume of men in that one! Grin

Sorry you're still not feeling well Mouse - don't worry, the wench commune will have loads of dairy, meat and sugar. It will be perfect

Madame, I did start watching TM because of TB. Prior to TM I'd mainly thought of him been a really, really good looking actor However, when I saw the first trailer with the swagger strut it was a case of 'aye, aye....let's just move the quality acting down the list of attributes a bit....'

Right, it's stopped snowing. Off out to walk the dog..laters.

FolknNorah · 02/03/2015 10:54

You were already in the couch mouse don't worry Grin. Well, I think all food will be delicious, taking into account all tastes and what some can eat and what some can't. (I don't do wheat, it hurtssZ, or sugar ATM either) but it will be lovely.
I'll help with something else. I can't cook.
And yes to stealing random chicken legs. Grin

Ooh yes, scarlett johansen.

Anyone else think maimie would totally kick arse as a marvel heroine/villainess?

DOING VOLUNTARY JOB NOW HONEST.

MiladyBeaWinter · 02/03/2015 11:33

Morning. Budge up on that couch will you? Brew Brew

Have RBNR much. Mainly due to this and Apes screencaps.

Dunno how it is 11.30 already and I seem to have done very little. Where is Badders Laundry Queen to inspire me? Also am meant to be making World Book Day costumes and cannot really be arsed.

Lyndie · 02/03/2015 11:47

Morning all!!

Hope St David's Day was good whatever you Welsh folk do on that day!

Madame excellent news on the smoking. Good luck.

Mavis don't say snow! I am hoping for lambs and spring sunshine!! I know I'm more likely to get rain and wind but live in hope

I was watching the Casual Vacancy last night but I have re-watched TM and thought the last episode was better than the first time I watched it. I can't wait to see Rochefort uncovered as a spy and strung up.

Helen hope that your limbs have recovered!! Hope all wenches enjoyed their mini liasons this weekend!! Wink

First load of washing on today, and fridge cleaned out

Might make some flapjacks or bread today.

Anyone else having problems with MN? I can't log on to MN on Safari for some reason, and the App crashes whenever I try to open a Swagger Inn thread! So I can only post when I'm on my laptop which is not very often! I think someone had this problem before but I don't remember how to fix it!

MiladyBeaWinter · 02/03/2015 11:52

MN is fine for me Lyndie but slow loading up.

My fridges need cleaning too. Bleugh.

Oh meant to say for DonDraper wenches, we started MadMen last night, and also House of Cards 3. With Poldark starting too its all a bit tellytastic.

ApricotCrush · 02/03/2015 11:53

I really should read my evening paper on the day it arrives. Just looking at Friday's and found this about Howie. It's nothing we don't already know, but cat amongst the pigeons it gives his age as 31! I thought we'd established finally that he's 38. Confused

Hope you can read it, MN's useless for articles.

FolknNorah · 02/03/2015 12:07

I have done two loads and the third is drying.

Table is getting filled up nicely with piles of clothes.

AnneOfAramis · 02/03/2015 13:11

bea press ups before bed in stripey blue pjs with nekkid torso Don Draper - it might be episode 1.

MiladyBeaWinter · 02/03/2015 14:29

Not epsiode 1 Anne, sure I'd have noticed them Grin....I'll look forward to the next few episodes with anticipation.

Oh look, its just started raining / sleeting. That'll be because the school run is due. FFS.

FolknNorah · 02/03/2015 14:43

Well we've got bright sunshine and a very cold breeze. Oi loves it Oi does. Grin
Would like to have had snow though. Just for a while. Sad

Lyndie · 02/03/2015 14:45

Snow here tooMrsB

Good article Apricot. Howie is loving TM being a success isn't he? Grin

Flapjacks done but when I went to the cupboard to get the condensed milk it was obviously a substitute that we DH never noticed when the Waitrose man came, and it was condensed milk with caramel?? The sort of thing you make a bannoffee pie with!!

Also cleaned the 'plastic' drawer out, jings how many wire bag ties did I have? About a million.

Enormouse · 02/03/2015 14:48

There's been a bit of snow here.

And I've done a load of laundry too

Lyndie · 02/03/2015 14:54

For goodness sake it's sunny now!

BloodyElkFire · 02/03/2015 15:09
IssyStark · 02/03/2015 15:11

Ds1 is aching for snow, and goes all despondent when I show him photos of what it's like at his grandparents or where his dad was in Derbyshire. We had a brief 10 minute flurry in early February but nothing since. Sad

Managed two loads of laundry yesterday in total, and even did some ironing. Got another load on today but it will all be dried inside tonight as I won't get back in time to get it out on the line which is a shame as it is an excellent drying day - sunny and with a good (if cold) wind. Already planning a big load for the one other sunny forecast day this week. Laundry: it dominates one's life, does it? But by god, I get so excited when I see a line full of sheets blowing in the wind.

IssyStark · 02/03/2015 15:13

And you lot thought it was The Musketeers that drew me in here rather than the unashamed discussion of linens ...
