It was me who said that about Claudette being Kim and Denise's mum, but that was a guess based on what DTC said about the character being a 'matriarch' - I now think she's Vincent's mum.

I don't think Les is having an affair. Too easy. That's what EE want us to think but I reckon this could involve the dead son/grandson they never see? They havent developed that story yet. Or something else but I don't think it's an affair.

Liking Kim. Didn't watch it before but she's great. Sonia is doing my head in. Cheer up for christ sake woman.

Donna was a bit of a tit over the Shabnam/Kush thing. It's 2 people dating, it happens, get a fucking grip woman.

At first I thought shabnam just said they were getting engaged in a panic to make it look to her dad that it wasn't what he thought and she wasn't being a hyprocrite. But then I realised she believed what she had said. Though maybe she was lying to Masood but was hoping that Kush would go along with it.
Nancy and Tamwar would make a bit of an odd couple. She needs someone with a bit more of a personality. But I think its because they seem an odd couple that they have gone for this storyline. As Masood said he hadn't seen it coming.
I am so confused over the les/pam/Claudette storyline. They have dragged this storyline with les and pams son on too long and now they've added in more mystery. But they haven't really established themselves enough in the square for people to care much whether les is having an affair. If that's what it is.

The Kush/Shab will they/won't they is tedious. I hate her eye-rolling, looking sideways ,hand twisty thing she does like a toddler being asked if they've done something and they don't want to fib.
When she sees him, and she does that Mills&Boon character bolt for safety.
Then the slap.

Masood eats really really noisily. At breakfast (where Shabs spilled something) and later eating an apple.
FWP , I know Blush but it grates .

not sure why masood so annoyed that kush seeing his daughter, massod had a fling with ians missus

or that shabs thinks that she is engaged to kush?? it was a chat about future, not once did he say marry me/get down on one knee/produce a ring

surely martin would be happy that liam is having afe sex,esp as him and sonja

dont think les is having an affair, maybe C is his dil? and pam cant cope with les keeping in contact after their son died?

always thought weird that shop was going to close as every one in the square goes to the mini mart

MrsJayy - Kush told Shabnam his wife died. This is EE so he may or may not have been married and she may or may not have died. And of course her being dead is no bar to her appearing at some point in the future.

Oh just cannot abide shabs. She had the nastiest and bitchiest personality that I can't see how anyone would want to spend any time with her. And the acting is terrible, far far too theatrical and ott with all the eye rolling and gurning. It's been shit recently. The episode with the women in the pub was weird, Shirley eating lettuce and pretending it was a dirty donner was crazy.

I'm going to have another ee break. I'm fast forwarding most of the time.

I just read that Sharon's real dad was from Albert Square. So any ideas? Is she really Ian's sister? Is that another reason for Kathy's return?

At the moment I feel like there are too many plot lines going on in Eastenders. I know there's been too much, in the past, focussing on one faaamerlee, and DTC listed that there were going to big stories for gazillions of characters, but imo I would prefer it if there were something in between.
I know I'm old, but I find it hard to keep up and it sort of dilutes the impact if there's massive drama for everyone, all the time.

What do others think?

There might be a lot of plot lines going on, but really there is only one going on right now and that isn't really going anywhere.

All the Lucy suspects have mysteriously disappeared, like phil, and Max (He got a scene last episode though so yay.)

Yeah that's the essential problem with the way Bobby being the killer and hushing it up. Like a climax not quite being achieved, iyswim.

If Pete Beale is Sharons biological father, then Kathy is her unaware biological step-mother.
Kathy married Phil then Sharon married Phil. So step-mum and step-daughter shared a husband.
And Sharon married Grant who had an affair with Kathy.

Perhaps the Lucy thing won't go anywhere? The police said that as there were no further leads they were winding down the investigation didn't they? Perhaps it's just left with the Beales to deal with the fall-out.

I'm trying to remember who else Sharon's dad could have been. Who else was in it back at the beginning?

Pete and Den were best friends so it makes sense that Pete is really Sharon's father and they arranged the adoption behind Kathy's back.

I read that someone will go to prison for Lucy's murder and whoever it is it will be really hard for Ian and Jane to allow them to take the blame - so Bobby might get discovered

Who else can it be that would still have an impact today? It would be great but pointless to find out it was Dr Legg. Grin

Could it be Den himself? Then she would be her son's half sister.
