Or Max saw something on the night of the murder that suggests it was Abi and he's been silently protecting her this whole time. If he tells her what he thinks he saw they might work it out between them.

Lauren might've worked out it was someone other than Abi and she has got it right.

Well I thought Max said "one of you killed Lucy" Dd watching with me agreed with me after rewinding about 20 times. Of all the lines to stumble over it had to be that one.

Had to rewind it a few times to work out if he said you or who? ! Still unsure though!

First time I saw it I thought he said "well, that you killed lucy" - have just replayed twice and I still think it's clear that's what he said

To be honest I'm not holding out much hope for this week, Deano's getting away with rape, Ronnie's randomly waking up from a long coma and will no doubt spring back to normal within days and then all this with Phil & Sharon.. Its just a lot going on at once.

I've just checked on Digital Spy, and their news articles confirm that the live scenes were just the scenes at the beginning and the end.

They also confirm that Max said 'that YOU killed Lucy'.

It sounded like he said 'whether you killed Lucy' or 'well, that you killed Lucy', neither of which sound likely to have been the script. The subtitles said 'that you killed Lucy', but there were definitely more sounds so I'm thinking it must have been a mistake.

I agree maybe he has been thinking Abi did it, and covering for her, without actually checking with her, or Abi led him to think it was her so that he would help cover up something done by Ben, Jay or someone. Or somehow she thinks she did it, but didn't. Or, you know, something else .

Just watched the Max/Abi conversation bit on iPlayer, really loud and I can categorically guarantee that Max said "Well, that you killed Lucy".

There are more Lauren scenes to come this week I think, obviously not live though, because iirc the Graham Norton preview clip showed her talking to Peter saying she knew who had killed Lucy. I could be wrong. Maybe she will come back with Tanya.

This has just appeared on one of the EE FB pages, I remember Emma realising something about the placement of houses before she was run over but I never got what. How did Lauren discover that?
