Just started on channel 4. Anyone watching?

Skyla looked really confused by the apology. I'm not sure a bunny rabbit is her favourite but at least he tried!

Trapper · 10/02/2015 20:58

Sweetcorn party!

SingSongSlummy · 10/02/2015 20:59

I think Christian should be Prime Minister when he grows up!

newgirl · 10/02/2015 20:59

What a fab show! Thought the kids were great #greentoilet

Rainicorn · 10/02/2015 20:59

It is hard when your dc look older than they are. DS1 is 11 and is 5'4, DS2 is 9 and in 13yr old clothes, DS3 is just turned 6 and in 9-10.

Rainicorn · 10/02/2015 21:01

I loved Skylas confused little face when she was trying to rationalise eating the chocolate herself.

BlueKarou · 10/02/2015 21:02

I quite liked that. Could have done with more; like maybe a 6 part series with monthly updates. But I think they did well fitting it in to an hour slot.

I take it back!

"I don't wanna grow up!"

Brilliant!

mamapain · 10/02/2015 21:04

I loved how conflicted she looked about sharing.

RedButtonhole · 10/02/2015 21:09

Just started watching on +1

Christian is so sweet. I feel sorry for Chaim, the way he seems to be using his height to intimidate the other boy over the body boards makes me think he is copying the behaviour from someone else.

Norfolkandchance1234 · 10/02/2015 21:11

Watching it on 4 plus 1 after catching the last 15 minutes of it on 4. Christian is just the coolest kid.

Itsgoingto I had the same with my son, the others in his class are catching up now but when he was 3-4 he could easily have passed for 5-7.

lemonpoppyseed · 10/02/2015 21:29

I just watched the preview on YouTube (am not in UK), and it looks great! I used to go to that school (but back in the 1980s). It's in the middle of a council estate and has had its ups and downs over the years but looks like it's flourishing now. Looking forward to watching the whole programme...

girliefriend · 10/02/2015 21:34

I don't really like the way they created conflict by leaving out chocolate cake and giving Skyla chocolate and not her friends. I know its part of the point of the show but does seem a bit mean and unfair.

I thought all the kids were sweethearts actually, Chaim did really well to apologise and make a card.

I liked Cuba, a little bit of deviance isn't always a bad thing Wink

EduCated · 10/02/2015 21:45

It seemed quite unfair with the chocolate cake. They weren't told not to eat it. It's not unreasonable to think that he may usually be allowed to eat food that is put out.

gymboywalton · 10/02/2015 21:47

Jayda' s teachers are going to love her. What a kind sensible girl. I predict chaim getting into trouble a lot for hitting etc

IgnoreMeEveryOtherReindeerDoes · 10/02/2015 21:48

Watching on c4+1

My 4year old I reckon would of joined in the eating of cake as he's defiantly a follower just bossy pants at home!

BeeInYourBonnet · 10/02/2015 21:51

My DS would have eaten the cake in the blink of an eye. My DD would have sat worrying about everyone breaking the rules, and then probably wouldn't have even eaten it once they were allowed as she would have got herself into such a state about it being verboten!

girliefriend · 10/02/2015 21:54

Chaim will be fine if his energy is directed in the right way, lots of exercise and sport. I think unfortunately he is likely to be labelled in a negative way because he is boisterous and so big!!

Thought it was interesting that the strong characters couldn't get themselves organised to make the den, that would def be dd. She would want to be directing all the other kids and it would have to be on her terms - would prob result in a paddy when the other children have their own ideas Grin

Loved the conversation at the end 'the wall was my boyfriend once because I kissed the wall' brilliant Grin

girliefriend · 10/02/2015 21:56

My dd would have scoffed the cake as would have I without a second thought Wink

NoArmaniNoPunani · 10/02/2015 21:58

I loved the way Christian had to go back and finish then den just for his own satisfaction after the task was over.

RedButtonhole · 10/02/2015 21:58

"I don't wanna grow up!"

Was great to watch innocence at its best and makes a great change from the usual rubbish program's.

Sunnyshine · 10/02/2015 22:02

Ahhh. Sharing is caring.
