One thing worse than the 'lady dr' thing is my friend's experience of being called 'the coloured lady Doctor'. No kidding. On a daily basis. #casual racism from the elderly . Often used in conjunction with face circling aka Julia Davis's character in Gav and Stace.

Been a bit of a hectic day, much rushing between work, school and taking ds1 to doctors (nothing serious just eczema). At 8, he no longer gets any admiring comments unlike babymouse but really, why shouldn't boys be lovely, kind, polite, pretty etc?
