So are we all still watching, despite the mumbling, bad writing and inaccuracies?

I'm not sure what ClaireGwen is up to, but they've written her to like kinky sex which in telly land means she's a bad un.

Last night's highlight for me was DH's genuine confusion over whether subtitles were for the hearing impaired or vision impaired (he may have had a couple of beers). Also sweaty Lee hammering in fence posts.

I think the whole back-story about the two lawyers is because Joe gets off, then due to guilt about not convicting Joe, Josalyn tries to help the other one's son. Though I think she said something about her son not being able to appeal??

Oh and thanks for clearing the Claire sleeping with Hardy thing up SpanishFly. I am sure Hardy told Ellie he had slept with Claire too but I could be confused.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Claire character had slept with hardy when he was in some bad place splitting up with his wife.
but I can't remember it being said in the series.

Ellie asked him if he'd slept with Claire but he didn't answer.

Torn between being vaguely excited about the final episode, mildly concerned about what I'm going to look forward to when it's finished, and sort of curious as to how annoyed I'm going to be about the 'cliffhanger'.

I reckon the next episode will be Joe gets off and kills himself by the sea. As he doesn't want to go to prison but knows that the people around him know he's guilty.

I don't think Joe will kill himself. He's not noble enough for that.

Well, I've now started dreaming about Broadchurch! Last night Hardy and Lee were fighting in some water, and I had to rescue Hardy! No idea what it means except I'm way too emotionally invested in all of this and have a massive crush on Lee and Hardy

I am looking forward to tonight. I have no idea how it will end, or if they will reveal anything at all.

I have some idea how it will end.....annoyingly, unsatisfyingly, inconclusively, frustratingly.... I have lots of ideas about the ending!

I'd like a happy ending involving me in a Lee and Hardy sandwich.
