Hope all wenches have had a good weekend.

MadamedeChevreuse · 25/01/2015 19:17

Ooh freaky, Ive just seen that theres a musketeer fan on twitter who has almost exactly my rl name but IS NOT ME.

Lyndie fyi that isnt me in case you thought it was...

Flopsy28 · 25/01/2015 19:17

Patience is a virtue but sometimes violence is much more appreciated in a woman

I loved all of your feedback re: the counsellor. Actually, I nearly laughed when she said it. Although, I think I'm ripe for hypnotising as I seemed to lose time during some sessions and I was always shattered afterwards.

Been at a party most of the day and had a lovely time but feel poorly again now.

Flopsy28 · 25/01/2015 19:20

Ooh, our Scottish friends have returned...

How do you make a gif work?

Lyndie · 25/01/2015 19:26

Ooh sorry Madame!! Blush It was suggested to me as a 'you know x you might know y' sort of thing. I thought you'd set up another account, but I did notice the surname was spelt wrong.

Floppers feet up now love.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/01/2015 19:27

Laters.............

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/01/2015 19:35

Ooh though, while I remember, because I was obsessive interested... According to www.friesian-equine.co.uk/history-of-friesian-horse.html
"During the Middle Ages, Friesian horses were in great demand as destriers throughout Europe since their size enabled them to carry a knight in full armor"

Gah - DS says he has a sore throat and won't be able to go to school tomorrow. And he's ended up in our bed for the past two nights.

MadamedeChevreuse · 25/01/2015 19:38

lyndie oh good well glad thats cleared up.

floppers hope you're ok lubber.

Am thinking of doing mavis's birthday letter thing for ds.

muffinino82 · 25/01/2015 19:53

muffin, I can live with the horses being the wrong breed as they're so pretty to look at (rather like the men on them ). DD & I drool over the horses a lot when we're watching & she can't wait until she's allowed to ride either of the two ponies that look a bit like 'Musketeer horses' where she goes riding!

Shock nope, nope and nope Wink A cheeky little Welsh pony would be a far better choice - looks and character Grin

Nah, Andalucians and Lusitanos would be close to what they would have ridden, Friesians are a descendant of these breeds. Aramis, as a hot blooded Spaniard, would certainly be more inclined towards the flashy, brave and clever Lusitanos Grin The swan-neck'd, weak backed examples that leave The Netherlands these days for anything less than many thousands of Euros are no war horses :p

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 25/01/2015 20:06

i too have seen that woman's name, madame. took me a while few seconds to work out it wasn't you!

MavisGrind · 25/01/2015 20:12

Evening all!

Blimey, well remembered Madame - I do enjoy writing my birthday letters and I seal them so can't remember what's gone into them. Don't know when I'll hand them over - haven't thought it through at all!

Floppers another gentle hug from me and seconding the thought of "imagine your pain is a fench" school of counselling. Hope you're ok my lovely.

Also hope your ds is ok with a better nights sleep Helen.

Can't remember anything else, so I hope everywench else is fine and dandy. I've spent the afternoon playing minecraft - I must admit I quite enjoyed myself and shall be adding to my list of Ways To Waste Time and Ensure Nothing Of Importance Gets Done.

Right, have to go. I'm doing an online course at the moment and I have to go and read Hamlet. As you do.

Carolina2015 · 25/01/2015 20:14

I knew I came here to be educated 'cause I though Friesians were cows! Confused

MadamedeChevreuse · 25/01/2015 20:43

So did I carolina...

ah, right mavis, so you just write and keep them, you dont give them to them (yet?) Makes sense of course, since ds cant read / wont give a stuff as he will be opening his presents. Enjoy Hamlet - I thought you were doing an astronomy course though?

helen I hope you dont catch ds's lurgy!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/01/2015 20:53

Oh Madame, don't Sad the thought of yet another cold is not nice... hope that's all it is though. He's also complaining that he has a sore throat, feels sick, is tired.... I can't work out if he's brewing something major or if he's just on school avoidance techniques now. FMLackOfTelepathy to work out what's going on in his little mind.

LetUsPrey · 25/01/2015 20:55

So are Friesians horses as well as cows, or just one of them?

Biiiiiig wenchy hugs to all

FancyFancy · 25/01/2015 20:59

Evening everyone. I really ought to be more organised & sit down before 9pm, is there any rewatching going on?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/01/2015 21:01

Spot the difference, and work out which one a Musketeer wuold look best on Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/01/2015 21:03

(Obviously, musketeers look best on me, but those photos aren't for public forums Wink )
