Anyone else picked up on the rumours that if S3 does get the go ahead it won't be filmed in Prague.

Something to do with filming subsidies changing or something. I can't believe that it would be cheaper to rebuild the set though?! Saw it on a Tumblr page whilst doing the Birdwatch thing then got distracted by DS trying to fake his results and now I can't find it again. FMGGBW

I'm not sure on the specifics of TM S3 but set construction is relatively easy. In Harry Potter the residents of the real Privet Drive made excessive demands to use their street again so WB said fuck em, and built an identical set of the street!!

I've just been tweeting bbc points of view @bbcpov to complain about the schedule. Suggest we all do, just for numbers.

MrsB no I hadn't picked up on that. Trouble is if it's not filmed in the CZ it will ruin what my interior designer friend calls 'the look and feel'. One of the things that makes this so good is the grand scale of filming in actual palaces , eg the Christening, the kings palace state appartments etc. So I do think it would be awful if they couldn't get the same sets. Unless it's called 'the Musketeers on holiday' .

I think rewatch would be a good idea just for extra iplayer numbers .
