Finally home. I'd decided that the only was of tackling paperwork Mount Everest was to just fucking get on with it, seeing as Friday had been totally ruined by the football.

Then in comedy of errors ds1's car has a flat battery so he cycled to my work to borrow my disgrace of a mum-wagon. So I've had the indignity of having to stay there working until he fucking well came and picked me up. I'd said this was ok earlier in the eve but truth be told, by 11 I was sick to the back teeth but stranded (with a colleague who we have just dropped home).

Worst Friday night out since I got two black eyes in Cardiff 'Metroes' in 1992.

Anyhow. Apparently they're showing the rugby on bbc1 next week. I'm now off to twitter to shout to JP about them ruining her programme. Fucking ridiculous.

LaComtess I completely sympathise. I'd had a stressful day at work and was looking forward to some cheering release but oh no, BBC1 went and ruined it for me. I've never been to Metros; was a bit of a square as a teenager then decamped to Swansea for university, so missed the clubbing window for that place

Is it seriously the rugby instead next week? Or the week after? 6 nations starts on 6 Feb, or have the posters at Queen Street Station lied to me? I swear Wales better beat England if it's to replace Musketeers or I will be planning to sabotage the new BBC studios they're planning in building outside Central. Me too, I was never brave enough to have anything other than chips though. All this talk of the 6 Nations reminds me of how on the nights after an international we would always go to the gay bars & clubs to avoid the sexual harassment rife everywhere else.

Hanna I'm flattered you remember. I can talk horses all day long, which is why I probably shouldn't start. Having them does mean I have a ready supply of well oiled leather products and a variety of whips, mind I will try to stick around, but as you said, problem is by the time you've read the thread whatever you have to say was irrelevant 20 pages ago But they are good fun and none of my friends really understand the Musk-attraction so I can't really talk to anyone about it They're rubbish but you lot are hilarious
