Anyone know why Liz Carr (Clarissa)'s name is at the top of the end credits?

In my head, I'm Emilia Fox too, Sinister.

pinkfrocks · 03/02/2015 08:23

EF has lost too much weight- she's looking gaunt and much older lately.

I think the new copper ( who she drinks whisky with) is bent and somehow involved.

EugenesAxe · 04/02/2015 14:29

AuntieMaggie - same here, although DH to me :) He also concluded that it was because she had a main part but for whatever reason wasn't included at the beginning with the others. It has bugged him a lot - I'm just too accepting of the status quo and had to say failed entirely to question it.

Anyone think the cat connection was just so incredibly stupid this week?

Jack's visiting somewhere where a dead man might have been... sees a CAT - yes, just a cat like you might see anywhere... thinks "Ooooh - hang on a minute! What if that mystery powder on the dead man's hands was the right chemical composition for cat litter?".... Clarissa - can you check? Oh, yep looks like you're right.... Coincidentally in your area there are a few warehouses that process cat litter.... Why don't you try the nearest one?... Ohhh yes - there we are! Blood spatter.

WTF?!

I searched for this thread just to find an answer as to why Liz Carr was given such a special mentions in the credits. I see we're all wondering the same. Confused

Why does Nikki wear such frumpy skirts? Her wardrobe is always so terrible. Unless she's dressed in skinny jeans. Then its just about bearable. And why does she always fall for such terrible men. This week's detective had as much charm as a dead slug.

From all the unbelievable aspects of the show- and there are many of them- I find the change of detectives each week to be the most strange thing. Surely, they would be working with the same local cops regularly and would all know each other well by now?

rumbelina · 05/02/2015 06:42

As soon as she got off with the detective I thought 'well he's dead by the end of the programme then'. Then sat there congratulating myself when he got shot......until he turned up alive!

Agree re the cat but that's SW for you.

wednesdaygirl · 05/02/2015 14:01

Loving the disused warehouse for cat litter still has cat litter all over the floor

Was the police officer that was accused in Eastenders once apon a time?

MILLYmo0se · 05/02/2015 18:11

He was Martin Fowler wasn't he ? Couldn't concentrate everytime he was onscreen, was annoying me as to who he 'used to be ' !

BugBugBug · 05/02/2015 18:36

All I could see was Martin fowler every time I looked at him! Every time he 'acted' grumpy, he just pulled a Martin fowler face.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 05/02/2015 22:16

Yes, we clocked Martin Fowler. Whatever happened to Martin Fowler in EE? I stopped watching yonks ago.

Were the credits alphabetical? Carr would be before Fox.

rumbelina · 09/02/2015 10:38

OMG Martin Fowler - knew I recognised him!

I don't know why I've noticed this but in the last 3 weeks' programmes, the detective they are working with has always said the line "Just give me something I can work with".

Naicecuppatea · 09/02/2015 11:09

Agree that EF looks gaunt and bony on screen. She is a great actress.
