Couldn't see a new Eastenders thread, so I thought I'd start one. Apologies if this is a duplication.

Great to hear Christian could be coming back.

I've looked at the spoiler pictures on daily mail's website (didn't mean to I was reading a link and it was at the bottom of the page so had to look)!
One of the pictures Is of Lucy and another character and she looks very out of it (drugs)? Or possibly injured.

For it to be a shock and sad then surely it has to be a family member. But I am stuck on the 'ah, that makes sense' aspect. Unless it makes sense in relation to something we find out on the week of live episodes.

Anyway, Bobby or Peter for me.

OR...does Lauren find out that the intended victim was her! But because of the matching suits, they got it wrong.

Just caught up on this weeks episodes.

Marathon was so funny, Shabnam looks like she's never run for a bus never mind a marathon. Lol at Tamwar 'where did you learn to run like that?' Like she's Jessica Ennis!

My guess is its a Beale. There's no one else that Lauren or Emma would want to protect. I'm going with Jane, covering up for Bobby.

Mind you I'm also a bit suspicious that Whitney has barely been on screen so she's my second choice.

Ems- I thought that the suits at the time were significant, but can't see why anyone would want to kill Lauren. Except maybe Jake in a drunken rage, but he's on obviously out of the frame.

I noticed on the suspects page on the website they have the funeral people. If its either one of them, I throw something the telly.

They keep bring them up (is their name the Cokers? Is that a clue? ) as if they're in the frame, but I can't see how they could be.
I'm going to stick with Billy as my guess, we never did find out why he kept pictures of her. And it would be sad (leaving Lola & Janet when he gets banged up) but would also kind of make sense given the way he was when he first joined the square.

He claimed the pictures weren't his - he said that they belonged to Peter & he'd hidden them because Peter kept looking at them & it was upsetting Lola. Because of course Peter would have a folder of printed out pictures like that & not an album or selection of properly developed photos.

I often wonder if it's going to turn out to be more than one person - the Max-bump was the first injury, argument with Billy could've raised her blood pressure & aggravated an internal bleed... Maybe Nick stole the drugs Peter gave her, more stress, plus whatever happened with Ben & Jay, higher blood pressure... etc., etc., with practically every character heaping more on her until the final person added the last straw & the camel's back got broken! There could be several people involved in the cover up because they all feel guilty about the part they played in her death.

One piece of evidence that no-one's mentioned for a while is the blood they found at Jake's flat. I do hope they cover that at some point in the reveal.

They've been making a thing of Lauren and Jane bonding, maybe it's leading up to her covering up? Some kind of accident involving Jane maybe?
I think several people being involved would make sense though.

Has someone read the spoiler about the pregnancy? Maybe that is a reason why someone doesn't go to the police if they find out who it is. I'll write it out here if no one minds!

Lauren can't be involved in the live episode though because she's on ML. Although presumably she'll be involved in some of the pre-recorded stuff in the week.

One the episodes is going to be a flashback episode, can't wait to see how they manage to make her look not pregnant.

I REALLY don't understand this stan thing. Why is he not just taking tablets himself? This is an infuriating story line.

I'm confused by the duff, duff Lauren scene.

It's meant to be in Newham isn't it MrsDeVere ? Yes, the Stan storyline is stupid. Tina could just leave him with the tablets (saying to the family / police later that she bought them for pain relief but had no idea he was going to take the whole lot). He's perfectly capable of mixing them himself. She could then come back in and spend the end with him (claiming later she had no idea).
In terms of who-killed-Lucy I think Lauren recognised the number... so I'm back to Abi.

whose numbers would Lauren know off by heart to know it instantly? I still don't think it would be a Branning, I would find it strange that Emma would write down a Branning's number on files that she kept in the Branning's house iyswim
