CJwoof take a bow. That is a back-handed or perhaps in this context one should say back-spinning compliment from pixie if ever I heard one. You are the Mistress of the double-entendre and it is indeed a talent!

Nice bum in the cricket trousers although they are sitting a tad too high for my liking. Could give Simon Cowell a run for his money. If he would just turn around, we might get a glimpse of a cricket box. But given we know there is usually a bulge, it would be hard to know if it was a box or 100% man made.

Richtea19 · 27/01/2015 07:22

Morning, icemist a nice bit of afghan grime photo this morning. CJ in cricket whites, perfect. cjwoof definitely the mistress of double- entendras! "Carry On Woof"! I am now thinking of summer and long lazy afternoons watching cricket, or specifically BA in cricket whites, much better than a shag rug or feathers!

onlygirl hope all is well today for you and keep squeezing those thighs, in case you need to launch.

Just a thought, the cricket box would have to be specially designed for the bulge, made to measure, cue.. Tape measure!

icemistOBE · 27/01/2015 07:38

I watched/fast forwarded that episode to the cricket whites. They were quite loose fitting at the front.... Nothing to see in any of the episode. It was on the Virgin On Demand not sure if it still is or not. He's cute rather than gorgeous in Lark Rise- if that makes sense?

I didn't really watch Lark Rise very much just now and then but I do recall him being in it as Laura's love interest and seeming to be a nice young man. Mind you it was that kind of programme wasn't it - sanitised viewing for early Sunday evenings. Did she end up with him?

Nickel45 · 27/01/2015 07:54

Good luch with your interview today richtea x

icemistOBE · 27/01/2015 07:57

Haven't a clue if they ended up together as it they never made a 5th series.

icemistOBE · 27/01/2015 07:57

Never watched it either...

Good luck with the interview richtea

Rhubarb01 · 27/01/2015 08:01

Good luck richtea!

pixieg1rl · 27/01/2015 08:12

Good luck richtea, have you deployed the stag pants?

Beingfrank · 27/01/2015 08:23

Good luck Richtea - and I'm so glad you sorted things with your dh. I had to laugh when I saw the orgy suspicion but I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time.

I do like a man in cricket whites - with three cricket mad sons I too understand the game and can score if required. Not sure about the finer points of fielding positions etc but I know enough and love watching. Very relaxing!

Been reading but not posting for a while, but I am still here in the background. Like I said about 9000 posts ago I listen more than I talk in RL as well!

Ilovelblue · 27/01/2015 08:28

Good luck Richtea. Yes, stag pants required as your lucky mascot! Go and be brilliant.

orphan · 27/01/2015 08:31

richtea good luck for your interview. The power of the CJ Collective is behind you wishing you all the best!Smile

orphan · 27/01/2015 08:36

Am afraid BA in Lowrise (but unfortunately highrise cricket trousers) isn't to my cougar tastes. From the clips I've seen, he's certainly no CJ and would not have inspired any ff, let alone QS.

threadNneedle · 27/01/2015 08:59

Clearly CJ has reached new levels in our subconscious as I too dreamed of him last night. I dreamed CJ (but actually I suppose BA) was hosting a new gameshow which I was a contestant on. I remember being really excited to tell you all. And I won a Mulberry handbag (what is it with the handbag thing?).
Anyway it then went into a less favourable scene with him being older and grey and drunk getting into a car (klipdoctors fan fic???!) with an older (yet glamorous) lady. Make of that what you will. (I'm actually pretty darn close in age to BA.)

orphan · 27/01/2015 09:19

It's not fair . I really want to dream of CJ. As I've said before, maybe it's just my body's safety mechanism kicking in to give my brain a rest from CJ thoughts during the night. I do feel a bit like a lesser acolyte though, as if I'm not quite trying hard enough!!

Onlygirljen · 27/01/2015 09:32

Thanks richtea and good luck for the interview! No sightings so far, although made good use of the flight for ff writing purposes. Will try not to produce that rather than my meeting notes today, could be embarassing!

orphan I too feel like a second rate deranged CJ fan for my lack of dreams, but it's probably safest this way Grin

Have a good day everyone, I need to go off and pretend to be all professional and grown up now..

cherin · 27/01/2015 09:56

I can't wait to read Jen's meeting notes (oink oink).

Hope the interview goes down a storm, and the day evolves smoothly for all of us (under our pretence of professionalism and innocence)

I kind of remember Laura's boyfriend in lark rise as being far too stiff (wasn't Laura the one with hot flushes trying to kiss him and then almost running away with McNulty in young-bad-boy version?)

I am temped to say I almost prefer BA in camp version with shag rug and mic swinging!! But that shows how I have aged (I have always been a bit prim and proper, DH is a good boy etc. now I am discovering a crazy streak...)

Ilovelblue · 27/01/2015 10:03

ThreadNneedle I think that older, glamorous woman was me! Hahahaha. I can do glamorous and sophisticated when I try and when I don't have a cough and a horrible red nose!

icemistOBE · 27/01/2015 10:07

Jus listening to all the scenes elsie did for us

cjwoofwoof · 27/01/2015 10:11

Just checking in, no dreams of CJ for me either, feel quite inadequate especially as my imagination can usually run riot where that headset's concerned.

cjwoofwoof · 27/01/2015 10:27

Thank you for my Sid James Award for double-entendres, it means a lot. I'm clearly winning you round with my incredible charm and magnetism, or more likely, you just enjoy my totally innocent euphemisms Wink

Richtea19 · 27/01/2015 11:06

Thank you all for well wishes for my interview, it's this afternoon and I am wearing my stag pants with the bell! I'm just trying not to get too nervous!

BA in Larkrise isn't for me, he looks too young and those cricket trousers don't have the correct cut that we like.... Low and tight around a bulge area :). Now if CJ could arrange a game of cricket in Afghan or in Bath - that might work.

No CJ dreams for me either, it's so annoying. I did have a dream last night, I remember running from robot people, I can't really remember much. Maybe it's SPOs FF I was thinking of!

cjwoofwoof · 27/01/2015 11:34

Good luck Richtea hope the lucky stag pants help you through the interview without jingling too much - awkwaaaard!! Stay focussed and be brilliant Smile
