Aw thanks orphan Smile

Blimey, just read life after afghan. See what you all mean about the ben thing Hmm. But chapter 4 was a damn fine vision of 40 winks! If I had that every Sunday afternoon I reckon I'd be a happy camper! Blush. If you need cheering up then go for that update!!

icemistOBE · 26/01/2015 19:14

I think he's in the Facebook group

Matt is in the FB group.

I am on Broadchurch countdown. Hoping for some inspiration having a blank day.... Need to update OG meets BC meets Reign lol

moojangles · 26/01/2015 19:51

AngryAngry Bloody men!! DH just been a total moron on phone. I was a good girl and bit my tongue but am raging.

richtea so glad you sorted things with mr richtea and that you came back

Going to read ff and calm down

pixieg1rl · 26/01/2015 20:05

Sorry to hear that moojangles. It must be hard not to let these things escalate when he's away. I recommend getting some cheap crockery to throw at the walls to help get the frustration out if your system.

cjwoofwoof · 26/01/2015 20:09

Sounds like you might gonna need the special CJ big-handed (depending on size of icebergs) lingerie set to give you a hug mooj or I can lend you my prototype plastic surgery extra strong Velcro suit for when you make up with DH (built in pump maybe required depending on how lifelike you need the suit to be) Grin

moojangles · 26/01/2015 20:33

cjwoof yes please to both!! Thanks pixie

Have stomped about and am calming down. Broadchurch to look forward, with OG and Reign lurking in my mind

Richtea19 · 26/01/2015 20:42

Live just read Klipdoctor, very heavy, I can't be doing with a sad ending!!

onlygirl I've just caught up with yours, just brilliant, I actually started at the beginning again and read right through. Just perfect. :)

I'm not sure about the Ben from Devon character and not even sure about the sex between him and Candy, but it is an interesting story with the involvement of the others from 2Section.

mooj let's not even go there about men!! Deep breath! cjwoof good idea about the lingerie set with CJ hands. An alternative to the stag huggable hottie. A CJ hug when needed!

icemist Ive just seen your YouTube collection of CJ pictures! .. Lovely :)
Did you post the link to the new episode of Reign, as I think I might of missed it?

orphan · 26/01/2015 20:56

lola I'm going to be watching Broadchurch with an eye on what you might be including in your next chapter. Smile

Ben from Devon with lovely brown eyes is a step too far I think, especially as he had QS with Candy! But, I do like CJ's idea of forty winks. Is there such a thing as one hundred and twenty winks?Grin

Try this richtea

orphan · 26/01/2015 20:59

Ooh, icemist I like that pic. Some good open shirt action going on (maybe a tiny bit Tom Jones but will try to ignore that) and he definitely shaved his chest for OG (or is wearing a chest wig in Reign).

orphan · 26/01/2015 20:59

Or is it shadow? Confused

orphan · 26/01/2015 21:01

Just zoomed in and there's definite Bulge, so all is good.Smile

Oneforthegirls · 26/01/2015 21:01

Evening. Been away a while. Trouble at mill and all that but things settling down a bit now. Sorry to hear about Richtea's strife. I confessed a while ago because DH was asking why I was laughing all the time. I think he thought it was a bit silly that middle aged women were lusting after a fictional character. Don't think he feels threatened though.

Just read Klipdoctor's new synopsis of his likes and dislikes in his profile. Whilst I like his work very much, I think some of his comments are a bit pompous. Not everyone has the same command of the English language as he does but this is fan fiction we are talking about not Booker prize winning novels! I think that if people have a genuine interest in a show or book etc and have turned it into a bit of a hobby, and have gone to the time, effort and trouble to write something, then they should be afforded a little respect even if it not as good as some of the other fiction.

I am clearly guilty of a couple of the misdemeanours mentioned but hey, working all hours to pay my mortgage at the moment has to take priority over updating my fan fiction!

I would be interested in hearing what the rest of you MN authors think.

icemistOBE · 26/01/2015 21:03

Think it's s shadow... The pictures I saw on tumblr, he was bare chested

OP posts:
Richtea19 · 26/01/2015 21:04

I think that looks like hair and perhaps a "worked out" chest, you know whe there's that dip down the middle? Or perhaps a shadow!!

I've just read the next chapter from Klipdoctor, so sad!

Thanks for the link icemist x

orphan · 26/01/2015 21:04

OK. I like smooth hairless chests - when they're CJ's anyway!

orphan · 26/01/2015 21:12

onefor I didn't really agree with his dislike of writers who ask readers for input as to what should happen next. Surely, that's just down to individual author's style - in my eyes there's nothing wrong with canvassing opinion as to the next stage.

Speighty33 · 26/01/2015 21:12

Dear god Kildoctor's latest offering is sooo sad. I actually was crying a little when I read that!

cherin · 26/01/2015 21:23

I think I may give it a miss, then...definitely not the type of reading for a day like that
(Yes ladies, I may have a bladder of a steel! And I must confess to my own shame that I was offered a decent warm meal, and a glass of red wine, and my head went all fuzzy, my eyelids all heavy, I had to resort to coffee#3! I am really not cut anymore for civilised lunch breaks, or I am getting too old for this pace ;-)
On the train journeys, I resorted to reading The Hunger games, which DS1 put in my backpack very sensibly ("mum, can you please check it's suitable for me?"), and it's almost finished. Very light reading, but good enough for the situation. Still unsure if I'll let him read it (he's 11 and bit squeamish), I may need to really get to the end of it...

pixieg1rl · 26/01/2015 21:55

I like the idea that there may be a hairy(ier) chest lurking under there. It's obviously not Magnum PI hairy, but a girl can dream. Mmmmm lovely furry men.......

I understand where you're coming from oneforthegirls, I think it could come over a bit pompous. Everyone has their likes and dislikes in storytelling. I struggle to read stuff with crap spelling and grammar, but equally I don't like stuff written in a strong dialect, it's very hard to do well without looking contrived. But kudos to those who do put stuff out there, it's great that they want to do that. Maybe we need to be better at giving constructive criticism.

Rhubarb01 · 26/01/2015 22:08

pixie I agree that there is an unwillingness to give constructive criticism in case it is misconstrued as negative criticism. To some extent no one writing on there is doing it for money so its probably fair that they aren't subjected to lots of unpleasant comments (I did see one person who had been given a barrage of nastiness but its rare). I suppose its like being a teacher where you point out the areas of weakness but then give advice on how to improve but not everyone feels able to do that.

Onlygirljen · 26/01/2015 22:08

Hi onefor, glad to see you checking back in. I saw the list of likes and dislikes earlier - I'm certainly guilty of a couple of the dislikes! Each to their own I suppose - I like reading his stuff, he's certainly the most prolific and successful of the OG ff writers, and for good reason.

I tend not to take it too seriously because it's become a form of fun for me - ok, there may be mistakes in places, and I may ask for input on how to take things forward, but I'm having fun with it, so who cares!

mooj, sorry your DH pissed you off - hopefully you are well on the way back to calm now! And cherin bravo for surviving the travel day! I now need to take the baton on that one - just setting my alarm for 5am to catch my flight now.

Hitting my pit! Praying for a peaceful night from the sleepless monster known as my 2 year old. All quiet so far! Hmm
