Yesterday, whilst waiting in the car with my ds, I was singing in deliberately bad karaoke style using my mobile to light up my face. Didn't realise there were people in the car next to us, watching with interest. DS wasn't happy...

Silly Sophisticated!! Of course, I love that :) I don't often feel sophisticated.... (Bit of a jeans and tshirt girl) but always very silly.

Anyway, richtea I am very much the epitome of a tomboy, but I like to consider myself part of this sophistication, giving it a cultural nuance...I mean, not many other threads in this telly-addicts space may have had limericks, excellent writing, exquisite sewing, ok we have the odd laughing-along-night and we should definitely be evaluated psychiatrically but it's fair to say we are out of the ordinary :-)

cherin, I'm Tom Boy by day, jeans and tshirt and trainers, or mostly gym gear, but like to think I scrub up ok!! We are off the Savoy next Sunday, so a week of prep is needed... Roots need touching up that's for sure!

DH out at a village social, I've just watched last night's Bluestone 42. Absolutely loved it. I may have to get them on DVD.

elsie goodie, DH and I are on bottle 2 (got MIL over...). I try to open wine later in the evening to stop me going on to No.2, but tonight hasn't worked!

nickel Savoy... Will it be ready for me, probably not! I will try my best to be sophisticated, I normally fail after two G&T's, they are doubles!

My DH watching football ... Again! ... Went to watch BS42 an it didn't record.
So, watched Birds of a Feather, so funny, discussing Cockney rhyming slang ... now, where have a heard that before! Hee hee :)

Hi all. Not had much time to post today but have whizzed through the latest musings at various points. Some of those photos are just awful. Give me CJ in all his combats any day.

Spent quite a while tonight catching up on the ff. There is some absolutely amazing stuff out there - definitely as good as - if not better than - the original in some cases. I had another idea for Dragon's Den (don't think anyone has suggested it so far but apologies if I've inadvertently nicked somebody else's idea. Why don't we have BA/CJ recording some it as an adult Jackanory? Not sure whether he should simply narrate it or whether we should have another narrator and CJ can read his own part. Maybe our friend Rupert PJ as narrator (after he's done his meet and greet for the wrestling).

Recorded BS42 and watched it after lunch when it was hailing and sleeting (with thunder and lightning thrown in for good measure. Was quite amusing though the captain clearly wasn't a patch on CJ. Would watch it again though.

Nickel and LovingtheBrit yes I loved it too, especially the stag cushions! I presumed other threads referred to FB and Twitter - are there more do you think?

nickel let's say you are all unique - some discussion but certainly no where near as entertaining.

ilove wait till you get to episode 5. I agree that the captain isn't a patch on CJ. But he's hot, he's tall, he looks good in uniform and is incredibly brave .... Wait out for episode 5
