Thanks apsara. Well next chapter is just about there BUT the good QS not really there yet, will come a bit later (ahem)! I'm building up to it - it's all part of the plan!

Ooh onlygirl I'm intrigued and excited. I don't mind if we have to wait for the real QS if it means there's more to come of the story.

lola you do realise I just can't take Broadchurch seriously anymore? The next episode I watch, I'll be waiting for the appearance of King Antoine, goblet in hand.

Back home now and very tired, mainly thanks to my friend being up and down in the night. If I don't catch her horrible bug, it will be a complete and utter miracle.

Lots of shopping yesterday and then this morning, we went to a lovely (if unbelievably expensive) farm shop, followed by a couple of little villages and lunch. A National Trust property this afternoon and a very pleasant walk around the estate.

Having a much needed cup of tea and catching up on all the ff. There's loads to read. Bring it on!

pixie I saw this shop this morning and for some reason thought of you. Luckily my friend had disappeared into the shop across the road at the time so I didn't have to answer any questions as to why I was taking the photo!

onlygirl keep us posted on RL Chris's antics tonight!!

We were down in Brighton today for DS cross country. It was the South East England championships (from Cornwall to Norwich), it was a massive meet and very tough for him, but all good practice. Nationals next back at Parliment Hill. So cherin, get your running gear on and we can have a jog around!!!

I'm off out tonight to my friends house, she is the one whose husband announced he was gay on Christmas Eve. I haven't spoke. To her properly since so I will get the low down on everything. It will be a wine filled evening me thinks!

I remember you mentioning your friend many threads ago but can't remember all the details. Had she suspected anything? Have you talked CJ with her at all; is she a fan?(Or, alternatively, maybe her husband?!) I do hope she's coming to terms with the shock - I can't imagine what it must be like for her if she had no inkling.

orphan I'm constantly proud of DS, but I have to say is the most unprepared runner ever! Always yawning, looks half asleep, so frustrating!!!

I haven't even mentioned to my friend about OG or anything of this, although she clearly needs cheering up so maybe I should! As far as I am aware she knew nothing of hubby being gay. Originally he left her on christmas/boxing day a few years ago, mid life crisis apparently. They renewed their wedding vows and then he leaves her again!!! Announcing he is gay. He has taken me off his FB friends list but forgot to take off my DH (maybe he likes him!!!!) but the last photo he posted last week was him and his boyfriend in a hot tub...yuk! They have 3 beautiful boys that are very rugby testosterone fuelled! Could be an interesting evening! Nothing against his decision, but just don't like the way he did it. I wonder if it's easier if your husband leaves you for a man rather than a women? I mean you certainly couldn't compete!

Just caught up on the washing and the ff not necessarily in that order. OMG - not sure what I can say about "our" ff that hasn't been said already!

lola you are hilarious! My friend I've been away with this weekend is a fan of David Tennant and had watched Broadchurch - I half started to tell her about the OG/Broadchurch crossover but then realised it would be too complicated to explain all the background (and she wouldn't have understood the obsession) so backtracked and changed the subject. Loved the reference to our AGM too!

lola love your latest chapter, I think the nodding CJ should definitely make it into the goody bags, brilliant idea! I have finally watched the first episode of Broadchurch, and it was so funny with your story fresh in my mind ... If only CJ and KA were in it too .... Lovely!! Off to catch up with the ff and maybe even another ep of Broadchurch!

onlygirl I've just reread the whole of How Could I Forget, it's amazingly brilliant ... Really loved the last chapter too, your making us wait out for the QS, but luckily I have a good imagination in the meanwhile!! I haven't got a scooby how all you authors on here, do it, but as the advert says, "you a really spoiling us"! Looking forward to hearing what RL Chris has been up to ... Hope you are having fun tonight :)

Have nipped to the loo during curry night to report back! There are 8 of us - RL Chris has brought a date..! I reckon you ladies could take her. She's 23, blonde, limbs like bambi - and hasn't eaten a thing even surrounded by curry loving pigs like us! I feel obliged to warn her she should probably line her stomach if she's going to be getting a QF later tonight..

I bet he would. With us chasing after him branding our measuring tapes, rolling pins, icing piping nozzles etc etc ;-)

And wearing our CJ glove lingerie sets, depending on whether or not we've been measured up by the Bossman yet!

Well that may cause him some jealousy or self esteem tremor...no man wants to SEE he's actually second fiddle ;-)
