I hate to throw something in here - please don't shout at me in horror - but do you think BA's agent may be putting him forward for the sorts of things he does want to do. Perhaps he wants to do American TV - its all happening there at the moment. Most of the big and critically acclaimed series are coming out of America and lots of film actors are venturing into TV. If he ended up in some acclaimed political thriller/police drama or something equally worthwhile as a result of getting his face known in something a little more lightweight perhaps it would be worthwhile doing. I expect he'd have to do a fake American accent unless he was the baddie as they are always English these days - probably less politically sensitive than some of the other options.

I've no idea where the photo was from, I think someone posted it a few threads back (I'm guessing someone who has gone back to RL?).

icemist, yes hope he comes back here, theatre would be brill ... I really wish I knew of his when him and Tom Ellis were in American Psycho, was it? .... Two for the price of one!

I've got a dreadful picture in my mind of him belting out "Second hand Rose" dressed in ostrich feathers and sequins.

I think I read somewhere he wanted to get into America ... Silly boy ... He'd be so much better suited to being over here ... The fans are better, for a start!!!

Is it possible that BA has in fact put in a special request to his agent not to be considered for any role in the UK until such time as a certain thread on Mumsnet ceases to be active??

I said this on Twitter in chat with some other ladies- if he does a stage show it will be a sell out! With probably 99% female audience. And all waiting at the stage door for when he leaves.
