I agree Cinnamon Me & dh said that about fff; she is ex wife & when you divorce (in the UK at least) all financial stuff has to be sorted before the decree absolute. So she would not be responsible for his debts I'd have thought.

I think I'd love to be as single minded as these women and believe in what I want so much that I can't consider following advice!

I quite liked that the women chose the way they wanted to give birth, there is no wrong way after all as long as the outcome is good; although I'm not so sure about 'free birthing', that seems slightly risky to me. Her justification of women have been doing this for centuries doesn't really hold water as infant mortality rates have always been much higher in less medical times (blimey I'm tired- if you see what I mean)

Yes, Dh and I said the same. Women have been dying giving birth for thousands of years. Some of it is just risky and I'm not that brave/bloody minded although I widh I could fight a bit more but I'm always scared of looking back and the what ifs.
