Just watching the clip for 'The Casual Vacancy'- it took me 2 attempts to read the book. It wasn't great, very cliched. She should stick to Harry Potter.

Raahh I enjoyed The Casual Vacancy-got it from the library last year- the clip I've seen looks like they've cast the parts well (close to how I imagined them, apart from the fat bloke should have been fatter iyswim)
