I've just been watching the most recent episode and as someone who's watched the show from the beginning, I was so happy with the events of tonight!
Did anyone else see it? Do you think they will follow through with the wedding? And if they do, surely this will be the last series??

Good plan. DH is watching Skyfall and I am trying to stay awake. Grin

BiscuitsAreMyDownfall · 24/12/2014 21:58

erm my planner says 10 out of 11 so what's next week?

Sparklingbrook · 24/12/2014 22:00

In the TV guide I have it says 10/10. DH says it's the last but one. Confused

BiscuitsAreMyDownfall · 24/12/2014 22:18

I'm watching it now so will check the planner after to see what is going on. One is wrong, unless it's the best bits or something.

youarekiddingme · 24/12/2014 22:20

Awwww I really liked that! Was nice to see a flip side of the character. Also love frankie goes to Hollywood!

sunnyfrostyday · 24/12/2014 22:30

Lovely. Smile

DH and I must have watched every single episode over the years.

BikeRunSki · 24/12/2014 22:41

Radio Times says 10/10.

I love NGO. I once watched 3 series back to back in the middle of the night when DD was few days old and cluster feeding.

BiscuitsAreMyDownfall · 24/12/2014 22:43

There's a repeat on in a couple of days so that must be number 11. Don't know why sky can't tell that.

OodKingWenceslas · 24/12/2014 22:44

I love the list old lady episode.

FabulousFudge · 24/12/2014 23:26

Good episode! I loved that rabbit episode - it's my funniest one ever!

FabulousFudge · 25/12/2014 01:15

Also loved that Tim Vine was back!

FruVikingessOla · 25/12/2014 07:27

It was great. I howled at Daisy's disastrous wedding hairstyle for Lucy!

Loved the little snippets from previous episodes too.

ChessieFL · 25/12/2014 08:40

There is an outtakes programme on in a few days which is 11/11. Loved last night's episode. I did think it was shame they couldn't get Miranda back for the end. Also, did anyone else think it was odd Hugh Dennis's character wasn't in it?

FruVikingessOla · 25/12/2014 09:55

Yes. In fact when Lee found out that Tim wouldn't be back in time to be best man, I thought he'd ask the HD character. But it was much better with his dad - after all, none of that silly stuff would have happened with HD!

FabulousFudge · 25/12/2014 10:33

I did think it was odd that HD wasn't invited to the wedding and that he didn't at least try for him to be best man. I'd forgotten all about Miranda being the cleaner!

youarekiddingme · 25/12/2014 11:17

Also was disappointed Miranda didn't feature but I guess she was filming her own Christmas special!

I also thought lee would ask Toby to be his best man - especially after last weeks episode focussing on Toby getting lee to admit his feelings!

Sparklingbrook · 25/12/2014 16:31

YY was Toby and awful wife at the wedding even? Just watched but have had a glass of wine or two

HalleLouja · 25/12/2014 23:21

I missed HD too. The hair was funny and miraculously changed by the met curtain aka veil. Bought series 1 to 5 on box set for dh for Xmas.

FruVikingessOla · 26/12/2014 14:15

Did anyone see the Christmas Special - The House (in the 'haunted' house) last night? The only thing that surprised me was that Lee managed to tidy up the 'deserted' house from cold, dusty & cobwebby to warm, sparkling and shiny in the space of about 5 minutes. Good thing Barbara wasn't with them I guess? Grin

NoisyBrain · 28/12/2014 21:42

Sally Bretton, who plays Lucy, shops in my supermarket (one I shop in, not one I own).

The first time I saw her in there I felt compelled to tell her I l loved NGO. She was lovely, and gracious in the face of my shamefully uncouth approach. I stopped short of asking her if Lee & Lucy would ever just get on with it and shag Grin

The Wedding episode was on Christmas Eve, Waswondering, I expect you can still get it on iplayer (or maybe it's being repeated on BBC4, I haven't checked though).

The haunted house (on Christmas Day) must have been one that was made earlier as a Christmas special - as Lee and Lucy weren't married in that one.

BiscuitsAreMyDownfall · 30/12/2014 08:59

The haunted house was on last year and was repeated this year

FabulousFudge · 30/12/2014 10:18

Also watch the out takes episode - very funny!
