Greetings

I am alone in the house and watching from behind the duvet. Is anyone there to watch with this gibbering wet? I might have to turn it off otherwise.

Me! I'm watching alone too... That bit with the old lady's eyes made me jump out of my skin.

southeastastra · 07/12/2014 21:18

i don't find it scary at all - it's a bit silly really

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 07/12/2014 21:19

I missed the start - watching with you peering through my fingers

Lovelydiscusfish · 07/12/2014 21:20

Have got it paused while dh finishes cooking dinner. Terrified to press play! Am only watching this episode in the desperate (forlorn) hope that everything is resolved, in a way that somehow makes it all less scary.

MargotThreadbetter · 07/12/2014 21:23

Oh my god. I need a large drink.

Corygal · 07/12/2014 21:24

The grey drowned face under the scarlet sari just made me retch a bit. Please, please resolve this nicely BBC.

Thanks for being there ladies! I am in a slightly better state.

I'm watching alone too but I have three dogs to protect me.

If Sheila Hancock is in it she must be important I'm guessing.

Corygal · 07/12/2014 21:32

It's not getting better is it. I feel nauseous with anticip-p-p-p-p-p-ation.

Have we found out how old the Michael Palin character is yet?

OP posts:
MargotThreadbetter · 07/12/2014 21:49

This is it now...I don't trust him at all.

Corygal · 07/12/2014 21:56

So were Isha and Michael Palin both ghosts?

OP posts:
meltedmonterayjack · 07/12/2014 22:03

That's what I want to know Cory. I'm presuming they both were, but I'm rubbish at understanding endings.

MargotThreadbetter · 07/12/2014 22:04

But if MP was a ghost, how comes he was given a place in the nursing home, people spoke to him etc?

Corygal · 07/12/2014 22:08

Well that's it, melted - and how come he was 120? when he hadn't survived the boat sinking?

My nervous system demands closure.

Why was Tom a ghost?

Corygal · 07/12/2014 22:11

I thought he was because a) he was too old to be alive b) and anyway all the passengers on the boat had died. Was he not on the boat?

OP posts:
ThisFenceIsComfy · 07/12/2014 22:11

Omg I don't understand!

ThisFenceIsComfy · 07/12/2014 22:12

I thought that was the boat Isha bribed her way onto.

ThisFenceIsComfy · 07/12/2014 22:12

Was he meant to be on it too?

Ujjayi · 07/12/2014 22:12

Corygal Tom was never on the boat that sank. Isha was trying to get to him in Scarborough because he was orphaned. His parents were killed in a major incident which was reported in the national press.

Perhaps he meant he had felt 10 years old his entire life?

Corygal · 07/12/2014 22:12

Yes you are right. But still, how come he was too old to live and still was wandering around?

OP posts:
Ujjayi · 07/12/2014 22:13

I have no idea!!

meltedmonterayjack · 07/12/2014 22:14

I didn't think Tom was on the boat. I thought Tom's parents had been killed in a wartime bombing of Scarborough leaving him an orphan. Isha had been on the boat going back to India? Or trying to come back possibly (if she realised Tom was now an orphan). But I wonder if Tom WAS killed in the bomb raid and had actually died at the same time as his parents when he was 10. But I am totally not sure about any of this. AND I WANT TO KNOW :(

ThisFenceIsComfy · 07/12/2014 22:15

I thought Isha kept him alive

ThisFenceIsComfy · 07/12/2014 22:15

Didn't he say that she would never let him go?
