So who will win now Jimmy has been voted out?

And so he should have been for being a bully !!

OP posts:
Arlagirl · 03/12/2014 21:20

Yes he is.

chockbic · 03/12/2014 21:23

22 surely?

Arven · 03/12/2014 21:23

he's not that thin. that's just what an old man's chest looks like, no muscle, just skin. I doubt his health is in any danger.

FrontForward · 03/12/2014 21:23

Edwina is dismissing all the other women and sniping about them. She's horrible

Arven · 03/12/2014 21:25

Cian wanted to win and admitted that last year. Why is it ok for a man to be open about the fact that he'd love to win but it's not ok for Mel to want to win?!

FatimaLovesBread · 03/12/2014 21:34

Riding bikes is tiring and physical but he retired from professional racing 14 years ago and along with lack of food I imagine he's not as fit as he once was

I'm undecided on Mel

clam · 03/12/2014 21:34

Mel needs to stop with the PA sniping right now. Voters won't like it.

And she was missing Edwina's point. It's not that women need men - of course we can do anything they can do, for me that goes without saying. Edwina meant that they're just nice to have around for companionship.
Mel/Kendra were both saying they didn't need anyone and were totally independent, but then said they were surrounded by friends and family to support them. Which was kind of Edwina's point, I think.

Arven · 03/12/2014 21:48

I don't think Mel missed Edwina's point, it's just frustrating when happily married people come out with that stuff as though you could just pull a satisfying fulfilling relationship out of a hat!! I got mel's frustration.

Michael should have a full breakfast now.

FrontForward · 03/12/2014 21:49

No I agree with Mel. Edwina has made some pretty annoying remarks about it needs a man - pretty insulting and unacceptable if a man said it - about dealing with the ?hare.

If a bloke was in there drooling over the young women and talking so luridly about their sex life we'd think they were an utter sleaze.

clam · 03/12/2014 22:07

Mel was saying how she was totally independent and didn't need anybody. And then she admitted that, actually, she does have other people.

I think a state of affairs has arisen whereby whatever Edwina says, or how pleasantly (and I acknowledge that she can be sneakily provocative), Mel is going to find it annoying. I think Edwina knows that, and is choosing not to challenge it.

Chipstick10 · 03/12/2014 22:08

Hate mel . Hate Edwina . Mel is doing my nut tonight

clam · 03/12/2014 22:19

She's an interesting mix of personable and feisty.

I believe there are reports of her and domestic violence, in that she allegedly assaulted (?) her now-ex partner. I'm idly wondering if a bloke with a similar past, documented in the press (and therefore subject to possible inaccuracies in reporting), would be getting the same numbers of votes, or if he'd be provoking outrage. How many people are wondering what the "bloke did to deserve being hit by a woman?"

FrontForward · 03/12/2014 22:24

Very true clam. Two sides to this and fascinating to look at how the women would be viewed if they were different sex (that doesn't make much sense but you hopefully know what I mean)

clam · 03/12/2014 22:29

Bottom line: would viewers tolerate a male "wife-beater" on such a show?

Pinkwillow · 03/12/2014 22:36

Jim Davidson?

Mrsjayy · 03/12/2014 22:42

Yeah a wife beating racist sexist man won celeb big brother mel was let off she was innocent,

Arven · 03/12/2014 23:16

My x abused me for years, emotionally, financially, verbally... once ONCE I lost it and attacked him. I was nearly out of my fucking mind at that point. He went on and on and on about how abusive I was to him. GOd he got full mileage out of me CRACKING up.

I see something of my x in mel's x.

Arven · 03/12/2014 23:18

oh, and wasn't craig charles accused (and cleared) of rape many years ago?!

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/12/2014 23:22

looked at pic of micheal and wow hes lost weight, as has mel, all dp and i see is her teeth in her face, rest of her is guant and looking skeltor in the face

OP posts:
clam · 04/12/2014 00:01

Being let off is not the same as being innocent. Unless by 'let off' you mean 'not guilty.'

CariadsDarling · 04/12/2014 02:00

Ive stopped watching it. There's something very different about this one and I didn't enjoy it at all.

MajesticWhine · 04/12/2014 07:02

I don't know exactly what Mel did to her ex, but I know she received a caution which she later managed to get struck from police records. She also ended that toxic relationship pretty quickly. At least that was a good move. You can see the stroppy side of her personality in the jungle. I can't help but like her though. She's a strong woman. Give me her over Kendra any day.

jalopy · 04/12/2014 10:35

God, giving Michael cashew nuts at the start of the interview was a bad idea.

R4roger · 04/12/2014 10:37

i was sad to see Michael go.

clam · 04/12/2014 11:16

I think he is great. Love his measured sense of humour.
I'm glad he went, but only because he clearly wanted to. He's now having a blast with his lovely wife in the Versace.
