I have only started watching it again to watch Michael Spence I might now have a Fleur obsession. Well now he has gone. How am I going to cope until Hansen comes back?

I think it's a mixture of both. Jac's mother was crap, she probably grew up feeling worthless, and her career validates her. It's something she's good at, something that gives her safety because she KNOWS she's the best at it, when her upbringing more than likely instilled in her that she wasn't the best at anything.

She's deliberately detaching herself from Emma. There's a certain sense of terror, like Artifex said, that she'll be just as awful as her own mother was.

I like Jac; I missed the awful mother storyline, but I think that fear of being a bad parent can be one consequence of an abusive childhood, so that rings true (but sad). There is an awful lot of mother issues in this programme. Is there actually a functioning family in it?

Is Selfie the awful man Jac was kissing? Clearly I have missed too much. Going to focus on work now before I may as well watch the programme!!

I was watching it today sobbing. In my defence one of DH's friend's lost her DH to a brain tumour. So was a bit close to home.

I also was thinking that I can't wait until Henrik is back. I was also missing Fleur. Can we launch a campaign to bring her back.

I wonder if Jac and Selfie go off in the sunset. Surely she has to go on maternity leave soon.

Yes, I thought the teacher was the baby's father! And Sacha's dd didn't confirm that it was the young boyfriend either so I think it still could be! I'm useless at this thread. Can't remember any names!

I want Fleur back with all her nicknames. I liked her.

Digby made me laugh as he was trying to get Rachel alone to tell her but she seemed happy to have her dad there...... until she heard the news that is.

That ward does my head in. Sascha is weak, Digby dithers, glad every time Zosia leaves as I can't stand her and the other one whose name I never remember is such a drama queen. Fleur improved it by miles

I do like Sacha when he is with Jac. Those two are actually quite sweet / funny with each other.

MC was good in that episode. She is obviously growing up. Harry is going to have to work harder if he wants her. I think she has a big story line coming up.

Does anyone know when Henrik Hanssen is due to reappear? I've googled but all the news dates back to Oct 14 saying he is confident back but I want to know when?

Really?! Just seems so unlikely as I can't imagine Chantelle being anything other than ditzy, and HH all suave and sophisticated.

I used to love Chantelle. No idea why, as in real life all that make up, complicated hair and whiney voice would have annoyed the crap out of me! But she was sweet!
