I have only started watching it again to watch Michael Spence I might now have a Fleur obsession. Well now he has gone. How am I going to cope until Hansen comes back?

I love Michael. That's all.

Am assuming Fleur is leaving soon too.

Ah, I feel like I'm home Grin I have watched Holby with devotion forever! Grin

Selfie and his daughter are annoying I think. I would love Ric to be my doctor but wouldn't trust Michael Spence as far as I could see him! I too am enjoying Fleur as she is injecting a bit of humour back in. I think the maternity doc from Hollyoaks is too wet and needs a boot up the backside to get it on with Mo!

I pine for the days of Anton Mayer and there is a possibility I chose ds1's name as a result of my massive (and still on going) crush on Dr Alex Adams Blush

CecyHall · 11/12/2014 20:31

I saw Doris at a train platform the other day, I did that weird 'do I know you' look which I think he noticed before I realised why I recognised him!

I keep my Holby love to myself in real life so you lot are the only people who I can tell!

DelGirl · 12/12/2014 23:16

but Jac lunged at Selfie didn't she? it just seened to come out of nowhere Confused

streakybacon · 13/12/2014 09:39

She knows he's been lusting after her from afar. She doesn't like anyone else making decisions for her, so she jumped at him first.

She's not shy in these matters, our Jac. Remember how she met Jonny? And Joseph and his DAD Shock?

OodKingWenceslas · 13/12/2014 15:56

I wasn't watching then streakybacon what happened?

streakybacon · 13/12/2014 17:26

She met Jonny at a training course. They were both bored and they sloped off for a shag. Then he turned up at Holby, not the heart surgeon he had claimed to be Wink.

Joseph's dad was a highly regarded professor of something or other (Jane Asher was his mother too), and while Jac and Joseph were in a relationship she had a fling with his dad, for professional advancement purposes, obvs. Can't remember full details but it was Shock.

Them was the days, when they had proper storylines .

HalleLouja · 13/12/2014 18:17

The whole Joseph and Jac love story with that annoying Faye too.

Remember when it started and Nick Jordan and his wife were in it. With Anton Meyer. Meyer was officially the best character ever.

Does anyone watch Homeland and see Ric's mate Zubin play a major part. I just wanna shout "Stay away from Lisa".

OodKingWenceslas · 13/12/2014 21:11

I watched the beginning then stopped for 5 years or so and then started again last year maternity/sick and dh working evenings!

streakybacon · 14/12/2014 16:13

Every other week I tell myself I'm going to stop watching it because it's so bad now, but it keeps drawing me back in. It's like crack cocaine, but without the good bits Wink.

VerucaInTheNutRoom · 14/12/2014 20:42

Me too, Streaky. I know it's crap but every Tuesday at 8 o'clock there I am!

I find episodes that don't feature Jac are a bit on the dull side.

streakybacon · 14/12/2014 21:08

Gawd, we're a tragic bunch, aren't we Xmas Grin!

Mind you, it's been an invaluable tool for ds who has autism. He's learned loads about non-verbal communication, facial expression, body language etc from tv, especially Holby. At least it's got its uses even if it's shite Xmas Grin.

HalleLouja · 14/12/2014 21:58

I gave up on it for a long while but Spencey drew me back in. Only to leave again. But do like Fleur.

OP posts:
OodKingWenceslas · 15/12/2014 19:10

Ooh look what u found Crown

streakybacon · 16/12/2014 13:46

Wear it with pride, Ood Xmas Grin

Chipstick10 · 16/12/2014 21:01

I love zosia love it when the storylines are about her

streakybacon · 17/12/2014 16:52

Raf and Serena are getting rather cosy, aren't they? Xmas Wink

jellyandsoup · 17/12/2014 16:59

Was the maternity doctor drink driving last month night? I know he is wet but he's never been that bad before.

streakybacon · 17/12/2014 17:08

I think his wetness was exaggerated for comedic effect Xmas Hmm. I wasn't counting his intake but I'll bet Ood was 'cos she's obsessed.

DelGirl · 17/12/2014 20:05

It was all a bit unrealistic last night. Obviously the turn of the less experienced script writers. Zosia's behaviour would surely not have gone unnoticed for so long in rl. You'd be sent home regardless surely. And the gyno, god he's a wimpish character. How on earth does he do his job. Gah, it's been so much better. Bring back the old script writers. Are you reading BBC Grin

streakybacon · 17/12/2014 20:30

It was all a bit unrealistic last night

Compared to how true to life it usually is, eh Del? Xmas Wink

DelGirl · 17/12/2014 21:21

Well I dont know, sometimes they get it right. I suppose the writers would think it dull, but they go too far the other way.
Won't stop me watching though Wink
