Doctors - and there is still hope of Hestembe!

Hello all SDTPs! (Sad Doctors Thread Participators - go on, join in lovely lurkers!)

Thank heavens Heston stayed! Mrs Tembe will be wearing her "come hither" wig next week, no doubt!

I think I hate AwfulNurse more than I hate 6tl Shock

So, my hopes for the duration of the thread:

  • Lots of TBFE shower scenes
  • Hestembe love
  • 6tl to fall off a very high cliff
  • AwfulNurse to follow her
  • George & Ronnie to return from China
  • The rightful owner of Gobby's house to turn up

So settle down with a nice cup of Red Bush and leave your critical faculties at the door. We're going in!

I remembered this morning and had then forgotten again by 1.45! Saw a couple of posts on the thread and remembered at 1.50, kind of meh episode today.

Yes, Niamh was the Irish dr. He died in his chair and she stood and did nothing, no attempt at cpr at all. I would have thought ambulance would have realised she did nothing and reported some kind of problem but them I'm expecting too much reality probably.

I did catch Al singing, though- and think his dessire to be happy til march is probably short lived. 6tl was still looking like she was chewing a wasp- i hoped Christmas might have cheered her upGrin

Will watch it again in the morning.

I am all confused by the fact only one of my dcs was back to day, the other 2 are back tomorrow, and today, inexplicably, felt like a Sunday.

I fell asleep after Doctors finished- snuggled up with a hot water bottle & the dog, bliss. Didn't wake up til DH came in Blush
Just watching Pointless, so a really active day (getting back into the New Year gradually)

Not totally back to normal for me yet as I always enjoyed the dr Blake mysteries after doctors but it's been changed to a vicar/detective prog with mr.weasley from Harry potter. Might take a few episodes to base an opinion.

Good to have it back today, but weird episode.

If cat's-bum-face 6tl is going to stay I think they should invent a never-seen-or-mentioned-before married son who has fallen on hard times and he and his wife have to move in with her. She would be v good as the interfering MIL from hell. The scriptwriters could get all their storylines from the Relationships board.

I was hoping the Gobbyplods would be back by now.

I am glad that AwfulNurse had a crap Christmas.

I have no interest in the Niamh storyline. I am starting to find her quite annoying.

He didn't know she existed and her mum (Lisa) had a breakdown and let her with Daniel at around 6 months. He then fought for access and has her regularly. He lost her with Zara at some point, when she went on a little ride and was then gone. Someone took her but they got her back. She must be 5ish by now, I'm not great with keeping up with soap ages. Joe seems to go from 9 months, the way Zara holds him/treats him to his actual age which he is over 2!

My dd11 doesnt go back to school until tomorrow and this morning she asked me to record doctors for her when shes back at school..should i call social services on my self for getting her addicted to doctors Blush Blush
