Doctors - and there is still hope of Hestembe!

Hello all SDTPs! (Sad Doctors Thread Participators - go on, join in lovely lurkers!)

Thank heavens Heston stayed! Mrs Tembe will be wearing her "come hither" wig next week, no doubt!

I think I hate AwfulNurse more than I hate 6tl Shock

So, my hopes for the duration of the thread:

  • Lots of TBFE shower scenes
  • Hestembe love
  • 6tl to fall off a very high cliff
  • AwfulNurse to follow her
  • George & Ronnie to return from China
  • The rightful owner of Gobby's house to turn up

So settle down with a nice cup of Red Bush and leave your critical faculties at the door. We're going in!

Anyone else got snow? Shame it probably won't last into January, we could have seen snow in July in Letherbridge.

No, just very windy here. Not my favourite flight ever and I had to come home before I managed to get a cuddle with the new baby.

We had snow, in South Mancheter- not much, and the ground was too wet to sick, but there is still quite a bit on the car.

I was at my dad's yesterday. Alcohol may have been consumed. I fell asleep at 6pm Grin

DD and DH have gone out with the sledge today. Our visitors have gone so I finally have the house to myself. I should be tidying up but instead I am catching up on Corrie and eating wine gums. I know how to party!

It's been very windy overnight (both types iyswim) but no snow. A bit of rain here & there, but not as cold as yesterday.
It's quite peaceful here at the moment & I have Corrie catch up to do as well Anne I'm sticking with it til new year & then might give up if it doesn't improve. You know how to party-wine gums & TV, sounds ideal.

Lots of rain, no snow Xmas Sad

Dh is feeling much better but it on oral and nasal steroids, antibiotics and some other nasal spray with strict instructions to visit his gp when they open, hoping he'll see someone within a fortnight!! He's got sinusitis and polyps, which as he's asthmatic too meant he could barely breathe and was in lots of pain in his face!

Ouch to that Cinnamon! Your poor DH. I get sinusitis very occasionally (not the other stuff though thankfully) -it is really painful.

Had a pretty dull birthday- couldn't do much, as spent my birthday money taking ds out for lunch for his birthday the day beforeSad. Did treat myself to a bottle of vodka thoughGrin

I swear this year has gone faster than any other. I feel like I missed a couple of months somewhere.

Happy belated birthday Raahh!

I'm here for new year too.

Got a new laptop yesterday and it is driving me nuts already, as everything is slightly left of where it was on my old one. I have to keep deleting loads of crap because I've pressed one key to the right of where \i think I am pressing. \As you can see back slashes are my nemesis.

Now got the nightmare of trying to copy my itunes over. Why is life never simple?

Gosh, first world problems, eh?

Raahh- I have had that very same feeling-as if time has passed so quickly this year! Weird (or perhaps that is what happens as you get older)

Happy New Year Xmas Smile everyone. I'm staying in tonight- being a non drinker (well almost) NYE doesn't hold the same appeal. I might indulge in a small ginger wine & lemonade, plus loads of chocolate. We try to get rid of all the Christmas goodies asap, but I want them all gone by Monday 5th at least.

I will attempt to Toldmywrath, my little two sleep at that time so I usually put a dvd on for the older ones and watch on my phone or laptop (or now on the iPad my parents bought for my birthday :)). Happy new year to you guys too, although I'm not in the party mood right now been a tough month or so, and dh's dad died unexpectedly Monday so we're a bit down in our house may be the first year as an adult I don't stay up!! Hope everyone else had a fab night whether it be drinking or not or mning or partying. Wishing you all a fab 2015 Xmas Smile
