I haven't watched PITW yet but I've recorded it. I was disappointed with the Flowers In The Attic one.

It didn't convey the eeriness and sadness that the book had, IMO.

Tim Burton would have done Flowers well. But I'm thinking Hammer Horror also.

Neither of them would touch Petals on the Wind with a bargepole though

the one who played Cathy was very pretty but not exactly blonde and blue eyed.

But I remember the very 1st time I read FITA and the rest (BTW the prequel, Garden of shadows, the grans story is fascinating) I was shit scared about the attic, slept with light on for a week after, and when Cory died I was in floods for another week!
