Charlie really reminds me of DS1 (Y10) who is very able but suffering from some mental health difficulties. So far this term he has only had one panic attack during a lesson, so I'm trying to feel positive. Last half term, he spent half of his time in the Learning Support department, shaking and crying.

Oh Lord, that must be really hard for you as well as him.

SabsFabulous · 09/10/2014 21:34

Anyone watching?

TheFirstOfHerName · 09/10/2014 22:00

Update on DS1: we had a meeting today with the H of Y, head of learning support and assistant head teacher. They have come up with a six-point action plan to help DS1'with his difficulties.

Me!!! Felt quite sorry for Yasmin being ganged up on by the other girls and was quite glad that she smashed her GCSEs :)

SuburbanRhonda · 10/10/2014 17:50

I loved the PE teacher.

She seemed so much better at understanding and supporting the girls than the pastoral staff in last week's episode whose job it was.

I hope there's someone in the school able to do the same for the boys.

Loved this week's episode, the pe teacher was fantastic and not a babe, hun or yeah in sightGrin

SabsFabulous · 23/10/2014 21:12

Tearing up at the 'I'm perfect' and 'you're the best teacher ever' exchange, plus handshake... it's so lovely

Horsemad · 23/10/2014 21:24

Watching for the first time - what a lovely lad Chris is. Smile

SabsFabulous · 23/10/2014 21:46

Agree, Chris is lovely

Horsemad · 23/10/2014 22:02

I really enjoyed that, brilliant teachers.

areyoubeingserviced · 24/10/2014 06:45

Thought that the teaching assistant working with. Chris was fantastic.
We do have some wonderful teachers

Horsemad · 24/10/2014 15:46

It made me realise how lucky the teachers in my DC's school are. (High achieving rural grammar, not many difficult kids if I'm honest). The teachers in the programme are truly inspirational, I get the feeling they really WANT to be teachers.

whatevermaycome · 24/10/2014 16:44

Mr Skinner is 37 no way !

TheFirstOfHerName · 24/10/2014 19:39

Have just started watching on catch-up. I have a boy with ASD in Y8 of a mainstream school, so watching Christopher is quite an emotional experience.
