Two celebs confirmed so far for the 2014 series:

Frankie from The Saturdays
Judy Murray (Andy's mum)

Not sure if they are deliberately only releasing one name at a time, but it can't be long before the big reveal.

So polish off your Cuban heels and slip into something tight and sparkly, it's almost here!

Shoulders need work, but I saw plenty of heel leads. Quite stiff but that could be nerves and I can see her improving in ballroom, but not sure how she'll fare in Latin.

They all seem to be doing dances that suit their characters this week don't they? CF is a funky sort of girl, max branding is a moody miseryguts, Judy is an elegant lady, hmmm, not sure about the antiques bloke.

VeryThelma · 26/09/2014 21:37

I wonder what the end of the dance was supposed to look like?

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 26/09/2014 21:37

It looked like a proper beginner's waltz, which I liked, but for one of Anton's partners that was not a good waltz and her frame's really poor.

glenthebattleostrich · 26/09/2014 21:38

Sniggering at Anton s bonny prince Charlie

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 26/09/2014 21:38

Have we more or less established now that every dance is very difficult? Grin

digerd · 26/09/2014 21:39

Judy's posture disappointed me and her hands/fingers.
She must put her shoulders down and back, and stretch her neck up longer.

FrankelandFilly · 26/09/2014 21:40

That's exactly what I was thinking Polka, it was a simple routine but better that she has a simple routine than an over complicated one.

I think Judy and Anton look good together, and she was better than expected. I thought the comments would be slightly more complimentary - I didn't think it was that bad.

Jake was good, but I felt his feet were a little laboured.

INeedSomeHelp · 26/09/2014 21:40

It really annoys me that anytime they have someone Scottish on they dress them up in tartan and use a Scottish song. They did it with Kenny Logan too.
And I'm Scottish!

Cocolepew · 26/09/2014 21:40

Very impressed with Jake and Caroline*

I no nothing about dancing *

** I don't let that stop me shouting at the telly

CMP69 · 26/09/2014 21:40

Were her arms a bit dodgy? She was properly crapping herself. Bless. Mull of Kintyre always makes me a bit teary Blush

glenthebattleostrich · 26/09/2014 21:41

She was better than bargain hunt man

ThursdayLast · 26/09/2014 21:42

I love Scott Mills

CMP69 · 26/09/2014 21:42

Yeah Scott (I luvs him) Yes I know he's gay Grin Go team Mills

FrankelandFilly · 26/09/2014 21:43

She's teaching him foot pressure - hurrah!

OP posts:
FrankelandFilly · 26/09/2014 21:43

I think these two will be lots of fun!

OP posts:
glenthebattleostrich · 26/09/2014 21:44

Hmmm, not loving Scott

Pennies · 26/09/2014 21:45

I think he has lead weights in his shoes.

FrankelandFilly · 26/09/2014 21:45

Bad choice of song; quite flat footed and timing a bit iffy for someone whose job is music! Needs more hips, better arms and more confidence?

Still luff him though

Dad dancing!

areyoubeingserviced · 26/09/2014 21:45

Crap routine

jonicomelately · 26/09/2014 21:45

Joanne looks really good fun. I think she's going to be a brilliant addition to Strictly.

digerd · 26/09/2014 21:45

Oh dear, not good. He seems like a nice man but he has no talent as a dancer.
Footwork not the worst, though.

Sparklingbrook · 26/09/2014 21:46

Is he a DJ? Hmm

Bet Robbie Williams was well chuffed to have his song murdered.
