I haven't noticed lizzy, but I can't stand him, he is so insincere and always looks like he's smirking at everyone.

Yep next week should reveal all, why does paddy look so suspicious, I know Robert threatened him but I don't think he would have it in him to shoot anyone.

Missed tonight. James irritates me. Haven't noticed the fingers, but he sniffs a lot. Not sure is it a mannerism, or him trying to express emotion. Hmm
Paddy was up to something the night Robert was shot I think, but nothing to do with Robert Wink...

The twist might be that Robert was not the intended victim. The would be killer was trying to shoot Chas and missed. In which case I would guess it is the mad mother of the Barton boys (sorry can't remember her name)

Maybe my eyes are defective, but how can people tell that Aaron is hiding a gun from that distance in the film? All I can see is him looking under the bonnet of a car in his own scrapyard. Confused

Diane's warbling really annoys me. Her histrionics and anger towards Chas are just ridiculous. Even if she thinks Chas suspected Aaron shot Robert did she really expect her to just give up her own son to the police? Anyway maybe Diane feels a bit guilty. I think she has always preferred Andy over his brother. Jack did as well and I think that is part of the reason Robert is so bitter and twisted!

So did I Rachel, Cain looked so vulnerable I thought, and Zach is brill, I like the way they refer back to storylines, mentioning the attack on Cain and the subsequent fall out, his breakdown etc.

Other soaps (corrie) just pretend some things never happened, at least with emmerdale they are somewhat consistent and realises the viewers have memories.

Did paddy shoot Robert I wonder, or are we being made to think he did, is Emma messing with Chas or is it someone else, I'm looking forward to tomorrow nights episodes Smile

Emmerdale is my favourite soap, the only one where I care about the characters! But why, if Cain is so sure that Aaron is innocent, was he going to kill the only person who potentially can name the person responsible?
I hope it does turn out to be Emma.
But the hospital scenes do bug me, someone in ITU in a separate room which appears to be off a main corridor where any random can walk in.
And all the hospitals phone calls (that I know of) come up as private, so Cain could have rung from anywhere, and withheld his number, instead of that charade with the teddy bear Hmm

Exactly ellenanora, Cain's vulnerability, and Zak's wisdom made for a brilliant scene. I have found it dragging slightly, lately, (although still light years ahead of Corrie, in all ways), but last night made up for that. I agree also re them remembering stuff, and referring to it. That's partly what made the scene so credible. Both are brilliant actors, of course.
Looking forward to end of 'who shot Robert' story, and I won't get to see it tonight, ah well!

Thought tonight's "big reveal" was a bit of a letdown. Of course, as usual, there were bits I didn't understand and I'm hopeless at working out what happens in the dark scenes.

Who was phoning Paddy and sounding like they were threatening him?.......... or will that be revealed at a later date?

Were we meant to think Lochlin was getting the gun out of the safe and then it appeared from Ross's back pocket.

Maybe I'm just thick but I need to have everything spelled out - I'm no use with reading between the lines Sad

Ross did a 'Strangers on a train' type deal with Andy... Ross kills Robert, Andy kills Pete. I think it was clear that Andy did not want to go along with it. He went and checked himself in at the hospital so he had an alibi for the time Ross shot Robert.

Slightly confused about the guns. I did fall asleep when I was watching last night, so apologies if I'm going over stuff that was in last night's episode.
Lachlin found Ross's gun, in the rucksack, in the river.
I think it was eventually put in the safe by Chrissie.
How did Ross get it out of the safe?
For one moment I thought there were two guns.Hmm
And what happened between Paddy and the girl from Brookside?
