The previous one ended where they made the announcement about the little boy Harry ( who played Leo)

So, a new one.

The Wedding (Dan and Kerry)
The desperate attempts of Pria to get married off
The bloke Who tried to kill Finn (who was he) and why is Finn in anguish ?

The female vicar Harriet who is harbouring a huge crush on Ashley
Sam and Tracy

It's limping along.

Are they trying to make out that Lachlan attacked Alicia because he has special needs and has been influenced by the Internet? ( saying that he doesn't love anything not even his mother, has trouble distingishing reality, that he says what people want to hear.....)

qazxc · 10/04/2015 22:15

How does Robert have a hitman's number? Would any hitman just take the word of someone they've never heard of on the phone (ie not think it might be a police sting)?

Jojoanna · 12/04/2015 07:40

I thought that. How do you ring up a hit man?
And where is Cain ? Why's he never in it anymore !

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/04/2015 10:37

Robert must've known the hitman - loads of people must hang round outside a pub but he recognised him (from behind, not even face on) and called to him. Could've been some random having a pee up a wall .

I'm warming to Emma , good evil character .

Rachel is getting on my very last nerve too. Push off you frowney old bag and go to Jai , that's who you really want.

OP posts:
qazxc · 12/04/2015 14:33

No robert's opening gambit to the hitman was "you don't know me but I'm looking for your services...".
Had a snigger at Emma's responses to Debbies "warning".
Where is Cain?

Untrevive · 12/04/2015 17:18

Sadly the lines that emma and rachel are having to act out are not going to warm me to their characters which is a shame as they could be good for emmerdale.

oriG1Nal · 14/04/2015 20:06

Why does James find his forefinger so fascinating? He spent the whole episode today examining it. He's been doing it before as well. I may have to stop watching Emmerdale purely for that reason..

Jojoanna · 14/04/2015 20:16

I don't like James's character at all. So weak and whiny. Chas should get rid.

Songlark · 14/04/2015 20:24

Not watched Emmerdale for a while. What's happened with Nicola and Jimmy? I think she's gone to Dubai hasn't she, but have her and Jimmy properly split up?

Jojoanna · 15/04/2015 17:37

No Jimmy and Nicola are still together . She went to Dubai but it was all amicable

AgathaChristie01 · 17/04/2015 10:06

I enjoy Jimmy and Nicola together, they can be pure comedy, but the scriptwriters gave Jimmy, in particular, some awful nonsense to do, in order to write out Nicola, for her maternity leave, in RL.
I thought the evening Carly tricked him into helping her, was very funny. I don't like her at all. But it was the old Jimmy back at his slightly gormless, good hearted best.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 17/04/2015 18:48

Ha! I liked the Carley/Debbie exchange in the Cafe
"Didn't you have a kid when you were, like, nine" (or along those lines)

OP posts:
Jojoanna · 17/04/2015 19:10

Yes funny. and Cain telling Debbie to stop being nice

slalomsuki · 20/04/2015 19:38

Get rid of the wailing mother of the sex offender. None of that family can act and are a total waste of viewing time. Just don't get what they are adding to the series.

AgathaChristie01 · 08/05/2015 11:38

Anyone still watching?

DextersMistress · 08/05/2015 11:42

Poor Marlon Sad

AgathaChristie01 · 08/05/2015 12:54

Cain, Marlon and Laurel were brilliant in the last few episodes, in particular.

slalomsuki · 08/05/2015 15:14

I thought the two episodes last night were very well acted and the interaction amongst the three of them was good. Laurel plays a good drunk veering between reality and the lure of another drink.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 08/05/2015 17:55

I've watched bits (and missed loads) but Marlon in his eye-patch with Daisy.

So, so Sad

I love the Marlon character, he's one of my favourites.

olbas · 08/05/2015 19:31

It's really worth watching isn't. Charlotte Bellamy is great, do you remember when they lost Daniel. Marlon has to take some responsibilty for his part though and realise why she started drinking in the first place.

AgathaChristie01 · 08/05/2015 22:41

I have to catch up on tonight's episodes, but I agree, I thought the episodes over the last few nights were excellent.
I prefer Marlon in tragedy, than when he is acting the fool. My heart was breaking last night when he found the dog. Laurel is brilliant, I can see why she started to drink, to be honest.

Cain, as always, played a blinder. Talking about his childhood with Shadrach, he was so completely convincing. Great stuff, Emmerdale!

qazxc · 10/05/2015 10:22

I'm a bit Shock at people insisting that marlon should stay with Laurel (moira for example). I was thinking that if the boot was on the other foot and marlon was the one drinking, endangering the kids and smacking Laurel so hard she needed surgery to save her eye; there would be clamouring of LTB.

AgathaChristie01 · 12/05/2015 21:12

Was anyone watching tonight? I'm wondering how Ashley walked into the house, to Laurel. Laurel didn't seem to let him in, and Marlon had said she had changed the locks.

olbas · 15/05/2015 17:05

Cat flap?Grin

No, she got up and opened the door, he brought her a homemade Lasagne, which was very nice of him but she didn't appreciate itSad

AgathaChristie01 · 15/05/2015 17:31

Thanks olbas (just picturing Ashley trying to get in a cat flap Grin)
I know that Corrie often overlooks details, but Emmerdale seems to be much more careful, so I did wonder, cos it was mentioned that she had changed the locks. I just started watching as he was there with the dish and Laurel was sitting there with her drink.
She is playing this really well. I wonder though will it be a miraculous cure like Rhona's drug addiction.
