The previous one ended where they made the announcement about the little boy Harry ( who played Leo)

So, a new one.

The Wedding (Dan and Kerry)
The desperate attempts of Pria to get married off
The bloke Who tried to kill Finn (who was he) and why is Finn in anguish ?

The female vicar Harriet who is harbouring a huge crush on Ashley
Sam and Tracy

It's limping along.

Am I the only one who is glad Katie is dead? She has got on my wick for years and at least there is no option for her to come back now.

Is it just me or had Diane's acting suddenly gone downhill? I'm sure she never used to be this bad.

CharityD · 21/02/2015 14:32

No, Pasta, I'm not sorry either that she is gone for good. I never liked her much, but since Robert reappeared, (and I can't stand him), she was even worse. What difference did it make to her, really, if he was having an affair! It was very tiresome, the way she was going on.
And because it was known that she was going to be killed off, I was at the stage where I just wanted it over and done with.
My bet is everyone (including Andy) will have forgotten her in a wet week.
I suppose it will be dragged up again, at some point. Presumably Robert will be caught out eventually, but other than that, it will be like she never existed.

BellsUpMyNose · 22/02/2015 17:30

i wonder if arron ever gets fed up with the amount of crying he as to do and id like to see kerry back to her old self, always pissed clothes to tight and straight on the dance floor as soon as the music started.that used to be a laugh

Ellenora5 · 24/02/2015 09:54

With Nicola going on maternity leave are they using the storyline that she is gone a bit crazy and kidnapping babies all over the place, that's a bit stupid if they are.

I'm kind of glad Laurel is getting a bit of a decent story, since she has been with Marlon she has been such a wet lettuce that I began to hate her, but loved seeing her have a go at the others.

Why doesn't David just tell Chrissie that her creepy son is freaking him out.

CharityD · 24/02/2015 12:02

If Lachlan harms Alicia in some way, I would really hate it, so I hope that is not the direction they are going with that.

Tbh, if I was Laurel, I'd mainline wine, because I would not be able to stand Marlon otherwise.

Not sure how they plan to write Nicola out, will she decide to go away or something. Jimmy can be funny, but last night, I think they went a bit OTT with some of his lines. Telling the women in the salon that the night in the B&B, they were just watching tv, and that Nicola had started the menopause, and so on. Filter, Jimmy, filter!

Ellenora5 · 26/02/2015 23:41

Oh dear, did not like it tonight, that was very uncomfortable watching I thought, poor Alicia Sad I always said that Lachlan was a creep, and now he will blame it all on her, and why the f@@k can't David be with his wife on her birthday, he never sees Amba as it is, but has to leg it the minute she might have a temp, and why the hospital, could they not have gone to the gp

Ah it really annoyed me tonight Angry

And time to get rid of Rodney by the way

CharityD · 27/02/2015 07:54

I switched off the tv, I think I need a break from Emmerdale.
Looks like the producer / writers were just going for shock value, trying to get publicity or something. That was vile. Thanks, but no thanks. Angry

Pastamancer · 27/02/2015 10:44

They are travelling to Paris on her birthday so they celebrated the day before so technically David didn't miss it.

in the episode last night im sure they said Lachlan had form for stalking girls etc

dancestomyowntune · 27/02/2015 21:13

The scenes with Lachlan and Alicia were awful Sad poor Alicia! Leyla, however, was amazing.

Griphook · 27/02/2015 23:25

The good thing about this story line (although it was very uncomfortable to watch) is tgat she went straight to the police, often they have people hanging staying silent for a couple of weeks, so in that respect it was positive

CharityD · 28/02/2015 00:37

I can't articulate why that story bothered me so much because I have no idea why.
I'm stepping away from Emmerdale, for the moment.

dancestomyowntune · 28/02/2015 07:25

Yes, I am also glad she reported it. I just hope she doesn't now bottle it all up and try to carry on as normal.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 28/02/2015 07:42

Ah found an emmerdale thread.
The whole Lachlan thing was making me very uncomfortable, thought it was very full on for 7 o'clock, the way that the nasty little creep is turning it round so poor Alicia is going to be accused of abusing him, it was really working me up-you can see how the story will go-she accepted the bag, his tattoo, giving him a job. But I did think the message of going straight to the police was a positive one.
I reckon Nicola will go off to visit her dad travelling in Europe or (if she is going to suddenly develop mh problems) goes away for a "rest"
I'm not liking vals cough-pneumonia anyone?

Pastamancer · 28/02/2015 08:12

Paul is coming back so could Nicola go off with him?

I think that being uncomfortable is part of the point of the Lachlan story. It shouldn't be something that people find easy to watch but at the same time people need to be aware that it does happen IYSWIM

CharityD · 28/02/2015 08:38

I think Laurence was to go on some work trip, and he wants to send Jimmy, but Jimmy persuades him that Nicola should go, instead.
Not sure if I made all that up, Grin because it doesn't make much sense, but I think I read it somewhere. It still wouldn't explain her being gone for any length of time.

I wondered this week how Jimmy and Charity's business survives, with Charity behind bars, and Jimmy running about after Nicola Grin.
The one driver they seemed to occasionally employ, (Robbie), is dead.

Pastamancer · 28/02/2015 09:50

They have a number of drivers, they came to the Christmas party at Moira's farm.

CharityD · 28/02/2015 10:13

I still wonder how the business survives Wink.

MirrorMirror · 28/02/2015 10:50

I can't believe anyone in the village will believe that Alicia was the little creep's girlfriendHmm he is only fourteen! Surely his mother must have some doubts? She hinted that he has form for inappropriate behaviour around females. Very disturbing storyline and I felt very uncomfortable watching the assault scene.

PennyChews1 · 02/03/2015 19:12

Poor Alicia Sad

dancestomyowntune · 02/03/2015 19:33

I think Crissy is disgusting. She knew he was taking "stalkerish" pictures of her, she knows he has form, and yet she is supporting him unwaveringly against someone who's meant to be her friend.

Poor Alicia. I hope she doesn't cave in and retract her statement.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 02/03/2015 19:40

That was awful. I don't think I can watch until the whole nasty storyline is over. What a foul family.

CharityD · 02/03/2015 20:54

Same here. I need a break from it until that story is over.

MirrorMirror · 02/03/2015 21:46

I don't want to watch til Chrissy has to admit the truth about her son and apologises to Alicia for what she said to her today.
