Fellow Homelanders - there is a Season 4 trailer!

Here. At one point Quinn appears to be either hugging or killing Salieri - apart from that it tells you very little. But still - Homeland!!!

I reckon (based on nothing except slowly building hype and last year's timings) that we're looking at late September/early October. Can we cope in a world without Brody?

Why did she want rid of Saul so much too? He's helping her out a lot, so that's strange to me.

Saul is definitely a goodie. I blame Series One for instilling doubt by banging on about a mole in the CIA and fomenting paranoia which was never resolved.

I'm a bit conflicted about them setting up a Carrie-Quinn romance- it feels a bit soapy.

I was vair confused by this

: did Saul really travel round the world to speak five sentences with Carrie??? Why is he there, who is he working for and how did he have such power over US Ambassador? Other than the fact she was his old flame....

It seemed that Carrie was going to visit her new team in the exact place Sandy had been before he escaped onto the street..

It seems different without the Brody dimension but somehow more compelling re the politics and 'real life', more focused on personalities. Carrie is trying to rebuild her career but by alienating most of the existing embassy staff and now has a few more enemies within.

Didn't like Quinn being so brutal with his lover, she seemed very genuine but it's quite clear where his feelings lie...no escape from Carries clutches!EnvyHalloween Grin

You know what's going to happen - Quinn and Carrie will finally get it together after months of sexual tension, then at the very moment they're about to DTD, Brody will turn up, staring through a window or something.

Also how come they mentioned it was likely that Brody had HIV, then Carrie slept with him and ended up pregnant...does that mean Carrie might have HIV now then too? This was never covered properly.

What?! Brody had HIV?! Where did that come from? Was that from his time as a junkie? Surely they would have tested him and done a big reveal if he had? I'm sure Carrie and the babydoc would have done any necessary tests.

It was when they rescued Brody and he was in the process of rehabilitation - just one line, saying that chances were high he had HIV.

Which was why I was surprised that Carrie had unprotected sex with him!

Carrie was pregnant from before brody went into hiding so pre HiV risk. I didnt think they slept together in season 3 until the night she told him she was pregnant in the farm house just before he was taken again.
