in the coaches box...Grin

So Federer V Djokovic, 2014.

Gutted it isn't Nadal, or Grigor. Glad it isn't Murray, we might get more balanced commentary. Grin

I think Federer may have it- and will be able to play a better game than against the big serving Raonic.

But Djok is hurting from the number of GS losses
He has only played Fed on grass once. At Wimbledon. He lost.
If the roof goes on, Fed is better indoors too.

I want a 5 set thriller, because I don't care who wins really. I am refusing to move form the sofa. My children will go to school Monday wearing pyjamas, and with a bag of crisps for lunch.

I am sticking with Virgin Pimms (a.k.a Peppermint tea)BrewWine

Bill- I've heard rumours it is 8.

1 set all !

OK. Lets go 5. I fancy a long afternoon/evening of tennis.

It could potentially rain so we could get delays for roof closure too !

Exciting ! Grin

That feckin music. Sounds like someone's died.

Raahh · 06/07/2014 15:46

Oh shit- yes- that's the main reason I want Djok to lose, so Rafa keeps his ranking.

I'm finding the shots of the Sloanes fascinating. They really are a distinct species, aren't they?

Is it too early to make a drinking game out of this? Down in one if you spot a working-class person.

Raahh · 06/07/2014 15:49

Is Fed sticking to his 10 second rule?

MrsV- in my head, I said 'Yah' in a rather Scandinavian wayGrin

OP posts:
MrsVamos · 06/07/2014 15:51

Ele

I don't remember it that way. I know they kept him waiting a while as they decided what to do.

It wasn't entirely clear at first what had happened and initially they said he could continue playing, then had a conflab and changed their minds.

I remember it was clearer on tv.

Raahh · 06/07/2014 15:51

The real fans, will, Jimmy.

The free loaders in the Royal box, possibly not.

Anyone here cheering for Djokovic?

MrsVamos · 06/07/2014 15:52

Like fuck is he, Raahh.

MrsVamos · 06/07/2014 15:53

Scandinavian would probably be Yarrr.Grin

Raahh · 06/07/2014 15:54

MrsV- no. In fact, they both took extra time, even after their wee break. Hypocrites.

Huge is there again ! Yawn.

GrouchyKiwi · 06/07/2014 15:55

1 set all seems a good place to start watching closely. Seems to me that Djokovic has been a bit stronger - is that accurate?

Hugh Jackman still looks terrifying with that facial hair.

Raahh · 06/07/2014 15:55

I studied Swedish for a year at university. i was crap at it. All for Stefan.

not really, it was that or Welsh Grin

Poor VB looks worried to death, and like she she really wants to be somewhere else. She looks very nervy.

Do the Beckhams have a marriage of convenience ?

Why was Vicky slapping his leg ? Do they communicate through Morse code in slaps on leg ?

MrsVamos · 06/07/2014 15:58

Roger !

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/07/2014 15:59

Not to early BOF it's the Wimbledon Final. Might have to avoid bringing AC into it. If we drink every time he mention the twins we'll be wasted by the end of the set.
