TBH Is love to see Andy win this one, and Ferrer deserves a GS title, but Djokos been awesome and so endearing with his French!

Seem to have missed all of the tennis over the past few days. Have no idea what's going on and who's won what. Might need to go and find somewhere to catch up.

*Rafa- all you need to know is

-Rafa has played very well, and beaten his competitors comprehensively.
-Ditto Djokovic (Raonic did his best for a couple of sets)
-Gulbis beat Federer. Then he beat Berdych.
-Murray was nearly outplayed by Kohlshreiber , it went on for days nearly with a very narrow victory to Murray. His next match was better.
-Ferrer has been pootling along quietly...but he plays Rafa tomorrow...
-Monfils has played beyond himself, has the luck of the crowd, and plays Murray tomorrow.

My money is still on a Djok/Rafa final.

Thanks, Raahh. 'Saw' the Kolshreiber match. That was Sat/Sun I think. It's whatever happened after I left for work yesterday that I missed.

That's where it started to go wrong and I am never drinking again until the next time. It's taken til the last hour for me to feel even halfway human.

I haven't had a drink since the end of March (although it wasn't drink that made me ill). I would like to say i feel great for not drinking- but actually for the last 10 weeks, I've had an almost permanent hangover type headache

Popping in again with a couple of questions based on previous posts:

1. When you say that Judith from The Seekers looks like Mrs. Federer, do you mean his wife or his mum? (must google now to see for myself)

2. If Ernie G. can be likable for his willingness to broadcast his honest opinions, however potentially unpopular, does that likability extend to everyone (i.e. politicians and brothers-in-law), or just tennis players?

I kind of had that before I started. It was only supposed to be me and a friend going for a glass of wine for my birthday. The glass turned into rather more than that.

Have we missed your birthday Clay? Happy birthday if so. It's birthday season it seems.

In answer to your second question Irene - no, it doesn't extend to at least politicians (not willing to commit re BIL's :)) as imo they are rarely likely to be giving honest answers.

It was yesterday, Juan. Does seem to be birthday season. Have lots of friends/family with birthdays this time of year too.

Question 2 should definitely not extend to politicians. Or at least they should express an honest opinion but not necessarily be liked for it.

Juan I misread your answer. Was trying to work out why BILs were rarely likely to be giving honest answers. Took me a while to work out that it was the politicians.

Yeah - I have seen 3.30 as well - I will be leaving then to get son from college... It better not be raining when I return - I have been forced to hoover my entire house today - I mean, a clean floor in June equals no play, always, without fail around here :(
