Shock at Fognini. You don't get to see that on the live scores.

JuanPotatoTwo · 31/05/2014 17:10

Is sofa nice? Agree about Monfils and the 4th set. He was playing a risky game doing that and it paid off but is it altogether fair?

Jim looks like he's had a big sponge curler in his fringe overnight :)

Raahh · 31/05/2014 17:45

Rafa- I know- if he had injured her, especially as it was deliberately thrown, he would have probably forfeited the match. Shades of Nalbadian/Cilic at Queens.

I think what Monfils did was risky, and definitely unsporting.I heard the commentator say he was really using the crowd to keep him from getting time penalties. The crowd were of course really loud, and seemed to get away with it, as with Raonic/Simon.

The crowd appear to be behind Kohlshreiber in this match- he is playing pretty well so far.

Sofa is very nice- it's very DFS, Grin but it is a kind of dove grey, rather than brown leather, and it brightens up the room, and I was forced to clean the living room, so that's something we will gloss over the mess everywher else.

Raahh · 31/05/2014 17:46

C'mon Kohlshreiber (I don't speak any German) Grin

Raahh · 31/05/2014 17:47

Some great shots in this game though.

Hi all am finally home.
How's your dh Juan?
Was very happy to see the rafa score Smile but what happened in the monfils fognini game?! Weird scores.
Hoping kol can win now

Raahh · 31/05/2014 18:47

grrr.

i think Murray may take this, but he's definitely not having all his own way.

Lovely sunny day, at RG.

Raahh · 31/05/2014 18:49

I have to say, I'm quite enjoying this match- I really think it could go either way, even though Murray is currently ahead.

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:01

Ok, Murray might be getting into it a bit now...

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:01

But the crowd aren't that enthused...

they cheer much more for Kohl.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 31/05/2014 19:15

Come on Murray.

Raahh, I have a slight suspicion that my sister is planning a surprise visit for my birthday on Monday. I think I may be forced to deal with the mess I've been glossing over, or she's going to have no where to sleep if she does.

My mother has threatened to come roundShock She never comes here (even though it is her house we rentGrin)

I will have to clean things that have throws chucked over them never been touched. And not let her have a wee Grin

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:23

I'm much more laid back when my day comes round.

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:23

dad

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 31/05/2014 19:27

Grin I though the advantage of living overseas was that this sort of unannounced visit didn't happen. (Not that I'd complain about seeing her, I don't get to see her enough)

Has Murray given up or something. He was 3-0 up in the 4th and now it's 3-2.

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:31

ooh- he nearly smashed a racquet..

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:32

And then he did smash the racquet on his foot....

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 31/05/2014 19:33

That's it he's lost then, if he's got to the point when he's smashing racquets. Grin Where's Lendl when you need him.

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:35

oh, but he's so much more mature these days...Wink

At least Djok really has matured with age. But then, he also wins a lot more...

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:48

oh, oh, 2 sets all and Kohl is a bit more composed than Murray.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 31/05/2014 19:51

Well he threw that set away. Let's see how much he really has matured and whether he can take the final set.

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:54

Rubbish- but come on you came back last set.

JuanPotatoTwo · 31/05/2014 19:54

I have to go out :( Would much rather watch 5th set. Mama dh is much better thanks, champing at the bit to come home. Which I think/hope he will on Monday.

My mum lives a couple of hundred of safe miles away so no danger of her dropping in. If she did though, and if she did complain she wouldn't have a leg to stand on - all her life she's had my dear departed gran and my lovely Aunt Margaret to cook, clean, babysit and do virtually everything else for her. In fairness she did work full time but even so.

Raahh · 31/05/2014 19:58

My mother is lovely, really, but she is a cleaner (not a hired hit man Grin). I can always, always find something better to do.

One reason I loved tennis growing up was for a fortnight during Wimbledon she let the housework slide a bit. It was far more relaxingGrin
